I live in Texas but have been searching for a small home to spend the summers in my old home state of Michigan. Husband and I found an older home (1926 build) in Jackson and needed to get it inspected as we can’t go there right now. I searched home inspectors in the area and chose Rene Franco from Professional Home Inspections as he had great online reviews. We spoke over the phone and he set up an inspection the next day with the realtor I’ve been working with. His inspection was very thorough, he took a ton of pictures, and laid out all areas of concern very concisely. His report was professional, and gave me a great overview of the immediate expenditures I’d need to make to get the home winterized and up to living standards. If you’re looking for a home inspector, I can’t recommend Rene enough! He follows through and calls to make sure everything you have questions about is addressed, and he’s willing to go the extra mile for his clients. I’d give him 10 stars if I could.

Excellent communication concerning what I needed to know and was willing to work everything out I was concerned about. Worked well with me explaining things that could happen in the future and how to handle it. He called and scheduled to see if he could come a day early and followed up the next day with a phone call on how things were working. Very good service and I would recommend them for Radon gas monitoring and testing.

Rene is very personable and easy to work with. I was impressed by how thorough he was. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and answered all my questions. Rene is quite knowledgeable but didn't hesitate to recommend I consult a specialist for one particular issue.
