PEOPLES CHURCH PRESCHOOL

While searching for a daycare I thought they were one of the top 2 in the area, I was on their waiting list for 6 month.  After having my infant baby with them I have mixed feelings.  I really like that they do a lot of activities and for the most part baby is happy there. They also post pictures of their day and planned activities in a website that only parents have access to. What I don't like is that sometimes they just let the babies cry for a little too long and the little ones are not dressed enough, they seem to be cold when the air is on. There is only full time for infants and they are opened from 7:10AM to 5:50PM, the problem is that they "unofficially" want you to tell them by 10AM what times you will be there.  For someone with not a set schedule that is not doable, specially when you are paying for full time care, you should be able to take your child any time during their opened hrs which is what they said we could do from the very beginning, now they are saying different, although their "contract" does not say anything about calling by 10am. During fall and spring semesters they have a lot of staff, a lot of students work there which is good in the sense that the babies do not cry as much, they get more attention but not so good in the sense that they have to get used to 10-12 different people handling them every day. Also, when starting I received a survey of things I liked and didn't or would like to happen, I filled it extensively and no one ever got back with me with opinions or suggestions or ideas, it was like what I said didn't matter at all. Although I still think they are one of the best 2 infant daycare in the areas, I think if I had to go back I would have picked the other one. I am not changing my baby daycare now since he would have to adjust to something different right before he needs to be moved up to a different room.  Overall the cares is not so bad that I would have to remove my child immediately but I try to keep him home as much as I can because I know he is not always happy there.
