My wife's laptop malfunctioned to the point that she could barely get it to reboot. KI Technology Group diagnosed the problem almost immediately and fixed it within a few days. Although the fix was relatively easy, what was most impressive was the speed of the diagnosis, given that the problem masqueraded as a virus or malware issue, at least to a novice user. I was given information about how likely files on the old drive could be recovered, and recovery worked out well. The staff, although busy, had a very patient attitude with me and its other customers.The staff took time to answer several related and unrelated questions and recommended a specific anti-malware product, which I promptly purchased through a third party. In addition to an anti-virus package already installed on the laptop, the anti-malware product has done a commendable job protecting the laptop from all types of hacker mayhem.

It went okay for a while, however the problem I brought it in for...Adobe Flashplayer crashing...recurred a few days
after  I got it back, and is still with me. Though, to be fair, I haven't taken it back to them to see what, if anything more,
they can do about it.

We took the computer in twice during the week to have it completely cleaned and made operational again. It took two visits but the computer was basically frozen before they started repairing it so I was not unhappy with having to take it back. They did not charge anything for the second visit. They also were very helpful with information and loaded anti-virus, spy-bot and anti malware software on the computer to protect it in the future. I don't really remember what they charged for the service but I felt it was very reasonable.

They were very professional in determining the cause of why my computer wouldn't power up.  Prior to evaluation, they provided many scenarios for the reasons based on storm damage.  It helped to get an idea of best case scenario versus worst case scenario before the computer could be looked at.  Their good reputation means they are always busy with computer repairs, and it is approximately 7-10 days for computer evaluation.

The service was good.  They were professional about the work, did a good job of the cleaning (it was really bad... we have dogs!).  They didn't have the same level power supply I'd had, and called to make sure their substitution would be all right (it was).  My only real issue with them was that it took a bit more than a week, and going without a computer for that long was painful!

It is a rare experience indeed when a company provides a pleasanrt, professional, price competitive service that is competently performed. Bill and Sheldon really bent over backwards to attend to my virus laden computer. I have had previous experiences with other companies in the area and they have all been unpleaseant. I was not talked down to, nor was my head filled with useless computer jargon that I could not understand. I was actually given a few tips on how to run my computer more efficiently. I would recommend KI Technology Group to anyone who needs computer work. They also provide other computer services that may be worth looking into beyond the repair of home PCs.
