Ellis Arbor Care

We had Ellis Arbor Care remove several trees this summer and trim/prune some others this fall. Both times they were working in tight spaces with not much room for error. Despite the close working conditions they were able to do the required work without damage to property or buildings. They are cost competitive and very professional. The owner Alex is also a Certified Arborist and gave me some helpful tips on improving the health of my trees. They are my 1st choice for tree service.

They’re prices are competitive. They’re professional, timely and prompt. They get excellent work. They have great clean up because when you got the tree on the ground, you got branches all over the place. They are very tidy. They have perfect communication.

We were very satisfied. We've used them on two separate occasions. I thought it was a competitive price. They are very professional and they did the work as agreed upon. When they do it, they seemed very knowledgeable. The tree trimming, we had done on special occasions. We just want to make sure that it was done properly and it won't damage the trees. They were courteous and they cleaned up. Everything went smoothly.

It was a high quality experience. He was really, really good. His name is Alex Ellis. He was very knowledgeable about different plants, shrubs, and trees. He was trained in trimming like Japanese Maple trees and we have one of those trimmed and he just did a really good job, very detailed, very organized. He cleaned up after himself very well and disposed all the branches and took everything away. The price was reasonable.

Alex recently finished a second fairly large and modestly complex job for me, and as before, his work was excellent; on time, cleanly and professionally done, with large and small brush completely removed. Not only is his work exemplary, he's very knowledgeable, and his prices comparatively are probably less than they should be. It's a pleasure to recommend him.

I had not known Alex Ellis' work or used him before, but he seems to be a superb arborist that can take care of large or small trees - pruning, removing, etc., including both by climbing into the trees or with lift buckets when needed for difficult settings of tree limbs over a house or other building. I was impressed by his careful assessment of the tree and decisions on alternatives to use in taking the trees down and out. His offer also was significantly below that of one of the other larger companies on Angie's list.

He came quickly after my phone call and on a weekend to assess the damage and give a bid. He then phoned ahead and came within four days in this busy arborist season. He is knowledgeable, careful, and thorough. I definitely will use him again as some of myother large oak and maple trees develop problems from disease or wind damage.

I would highly recommend him. He is knowledgeable with his trees, is careful with his work, and is reasonably priced.
