I had talked to several builders prior to hiring Toby. He met with me a few times, helped me refine my plans to fit my budget and delivered everything he promised, on schedule and within budget! I am 100% satisfied!!!

Background:
--Functionality, not money, was the owner's (who wanted and paid for the remodel) main concern.
Results:
--Four summers later the remodeled bathroom has gaping spaces where storage and shelving was supposed to be placed. Mr. Prevo never completed the remodel.
--The one door vanity with storage area and non-porcelain single basin sink is extremely cheap looking and pop-up stopper has never closed fully.
--For practical adult use, shower does not have useful seating (had been a specification); must bring in bench or chair.
--Design seems lacking in creativity. Perhaps if storage and shelving existed, the entire design would seem more creative.
Example 1 of creativity: ADA-approved wall toilets which allows one to select the height, and provides 7' - 9" more space than floor toilet. This would have cost more (ripping up wall) and it is unknown whether or not the wall cavity between the studs was large enough.
Example 2 of creativity: determine feasibility of using extra kitchen cabinets (add sink and new top) as a vanity with much larger storage space.
--Owner was/is so dissatisfied that s/he wants nothing more to do with Mr. Prevo or anyone from his company.
Process:
--Mr. Prevo submitted an invoice for entire remodel before finishing the remodel. Unfortunately, the owner paid all of it before Mr. Prevo completed the project - he never installed the storage and shelving.
--Owner has copies of two hand-drawn layouts of the proposed remodel, which Mr. Prevo provided; one has a cost estimate of $6K+ and the other has a cost estimate of $10K+. Not entirely clear what the design differences were. Also, drawings were provided before it was determined that bathroom window would need to be repositioned. A final remodel drawing with the repositioned window was never created, updated, and/or given to owner.
