After waiting approximately 6 weeks my chair was ready. It was a good thing I called because no one bothered to contact us and inform us it was finished. This was after I made two earlier follow up calls a week earlier. I picked it up today and I was very disappointed in the finished product. Instead of receiving a rustic looking chair seat and back, I received a chair that was patterned in wood after the existing vinyl seat and back. Zero creativity, and the color of the stain was wrong. There was no cross cut wood, just plain stained oak. This was very disappointing since I reviewed several samples with the sales person and she assured me she knew what I was looking for. The chair was presented to me covered in shop dust and it did not have a rustic look at all. In fact it looks like it was made in high school shop class. The owner did offer to sand and re-stain the wood but I declined. I didn't want to wait another 6 weeks for a chair I use every day. I'm not sure how 2nd Chance missed meeting my expectations but they didn't seemed to be too upset about it. I figure small paying customers don't receive the attention to detail as their commercial customers do.
