We are so happy we found TBC Decks! Phil the owner is phenomenal! He is so meticulous with his work and strives to get everything perfect! You can tell Phil loves what he does! The result was a deck that is truly is something that we are so proud of and know will last. Phil communicated so well with us throughout the project. Very professional. I interviewed 5 contractors and Phil really stood apart from the rest. He listened to my concerns and addressed each one. He is someone a homeowner can put their trust in. Our deck was completely in a very timely manner. The worksite was kept neat throughout the project. And the final price was right on the quoted price. Phil was exceptionally responsive throughout the process, from coming out to measure and give us a quote until completed project, all questions were answered in an extremely timely manner. His cleanliness and attention to detail was exemplary! Even our township inspector stated, Phils work is meticulous, I would not hesitate for a second to recommend him. AAA+++!!! We are 100% thrilled with the job Phil of TBC Decks did in building our deck. It was a larger size, second floor deck that was a new build on an existing home; so it was a larger, more involved job. Phil is the consummate professional, and it shows in the final product. Phil was helpful right from the outset in the design and in explaining options in materials. He arrives early, works industriously on a regular schedule, and leaves a tidy work site at the end of the day. The pace at which the job progresses and is finished is impressive! At the same time, he patiently answers all questions and willingly takes the time to thoroughly address any and all concerns; a real â straight shooterâ . We can wholeheartedly recommend TBC Decks without hesitation!

Phil had to take down our old deck and build a new one. He designed the deck for us. Within less than a full week, Phil had the old deck torn down and disposed of and built a new deck with two sets of stairs for us. He is polite, clean, friendly . His workmanship is beautiful. He is prompt and if he is going to be leaving early or coming in later, he tells you ahead of time. Once the job was over he cleaned up everything! It was a great experience having Phil work for us and if we can find more jobs for him we will certainly recommend him. .

Six out of five stars. When I first read some of these reviews I thought they were B.S., just some fly-by-night company that was boosting his rep with fake reviews. I took a chance and hired him and - Nope! Not fake reviews! This guy is every bit as good as they all say. We had three companies quote this job and he was the fastest to respond, communicated clearly, had the most well thought out design and just overall seemed more eager to get our business. TBC Decks is a one-man show, which I didn't realize till nearly a week into the project. When I found that out I was astounded at how much he was able to get done by himself. Phil is the chief cook and bottle washer, and he won't hire help because, in his words, 'I haven't found anyone that will match my work ethic'. The new deck is astoundingly beautiful, completed on time and on budget with minimal disturbances to the rest of my property. He made a lot of on-the-fly design changes that turned out to be good decisions.

Phil was fantastic! He built us the perfect deck on budget and ahead of schedule. His design was exactly like we were picturing and he communicated very well through the entire process.

Phil Thebolt does all the work himself. He gave us an accurate estimate of work to be done, cost and time to complete the project. He expertly demolished the surface and railings of the old deck, hauled away the old wood, and replaced the deck with composite decking and railings. He cleared the ground under the deck and placed landscaping fabric and stones for a weed-free finished appearance. He expanded part of the deck to make it larger, and installed two sets of stairs off the deck to the ground. When he finished the project, he power washed the deck so we have a beautiful new area to enjoy. He finished the project on time and on budget. He was very pleasant and kept us informed as to his progress. I loved the work and would positively call him again if we decide on another project.

Phil Thebolt contacted us immediately to schedule a build date. From the beginning, I knew he was the right person for the job. He was knowledgeable, patient and kind. From making the plans, to picking out the colors, he helped us from beginning to the end. He made himself available for any questions I had. His work ethic is impeccable. He worked during good weather and bad. Many days he worked long hours to finish the job on time. Once he finished the job, he cleaned up his work to ensure there were no materials, parts or nails lingering in the yard. Since I have young children, I certainly appreciated the cleanup. Phil is an excellent worker that I highly recommend to anyone looking for this type of work. We are so pleased with our new deck and are looking forward to enjoying it.

Phil was great to work with. He helped me develop my plan and was willing to work with whatever ideas I came up with. Even up to the day he started the deck framing I was still "modifying" my final design. In the end he extended his stay on the job to complete more work than I had originally contracted for. He always responded to emails and questions quickly, was always right on time to the job and was generally very pleasant to work with. I will be looking to hire him again for future work.
