Although in the end we were unable to use Mitchell's they came up with a great plan for our yard. Our yard was flooding but since our neighbors' yards are also low, we didn't want to flood them even more. They were responsive and helpful. I think anyone choosing to work with them would be pleased. Frank was professional and followed up. We thank them!

Jonathan was very rude and his quotes were high to the point of price gouging. I have not worked with someone so unprofessional in a long time. We ended up only having him to the tennis court excavation rather than the whole job.

EXCELLENT, first of all John (Owner) is professional and responds quickly! His staff is courteous, hard working, and pleasant to deal with and know what they are doing..it is so difficult to find good work these days and individuals that really want to please their client. This company does all that and more....we are grateful to have found John and his staff to handle our needs.

John was great to work with. He was professional and very knowledgable about the products, design, and installation. He was easy to reach and very prompt when returning phone calls or emails. He met with us multiple times to discuss the project. The istallation was done beautifully. The crew was clean, precise, and professional. John did a walk through when the project was complete to make sure we were happy with everything. I am very happy with the work done.

Mitchell Landscaping came out and removed all 31 trees in less than a month.  After completion, extra care was taken to leave the site groomed and free from debri.  The crew acted in a safe and courteous matter.

I was impressed with Jon from the first time I met him. He is an energetic "go-getter". We had an idea of what we wanted to accomplish and Jon improved on those plans with his suggestions. Jon was reliable - he told us when he would start and he came through. We needed some seawall work completed and Jon was able to connect us with someone who was also reliable. Jon kept the job clean and his guys were professional. We are VERY happy with the final product both in terms of the design and quality of work. He offered up different options at various price points. When we needed the second job completed in 2014, he was the only one we asked. Jon now provides weekly mowing services for us.

The property in question is a vacation property used mostly on the weekends. I was initially told that they would be performing the mowing on Wednesdays but then the first time we used them, they cut on a Tuesday. By the time we got to the cottage it looked overgrown, which made the service kind of pointless. I can't say how it looked right after the initial mowing, but when we cancelled the service he did offer to do future cuts on Thursdays so it would look better for the weekends.

If we decided to use a service again we'll give him another try so long as its closer to when we want it done.

Jon did a good job- provided a timely quote with good follow-up. Did the work within one day. Crew did a great job. Jon followed up a week later and inquired about how the lawn was doing. Overall a good experience. Would recommend him and would hire for future work.

They did it but used a bob cat and it put huge ruts in our yard. He never came back and fixed it. They also pulled out some bushes and they never came back to make it look nice. Left it looking shotty.

We purchased a home on one of the lakes here in Dowagiac. Our yard was falling into the lake and we needed a retaining wall constructed to hold the earth back. After getting several estimates we settled on John and his team at Mitchell Landscape. John was nothing but professional throughout the design and build process. He even took us to other jobs he completed to see the quality of work he does. I would recommended Mitchell landscape for any lawn or landscape needs big or small. They can handle it professionally and in a timely manner.
