"After nearly two years, I have finally hit my limit and am writing to share my experiences with the Under deck Oasis company. The installation of my system cost 15K dollars. One would assume a purchase of that size would be backed by a warranty and work force that could substantiate the cost. Well, not the case, I have had nothing but problem after problem. Frustration after frustration. Based on my experience, there is no such thing as a warranty, just install, take your money and run. Due to the way the underdeck system and my deck are build the drainage was run for part of the deck toward my home. As a result, my first problem was a 16 foot hole in the basement where the water from the under-decking ran into the bathroom fan vent and filled the pipe leaking until it collapsed the ceiling. They did respond on this...the run off issues were corrected at a visit by their technician, but the ceiling was never addressed or even discussed by the owner. I have corrected most out of my own pocket, 2200.00 so far, however then another ceiling collapse occurred which a plumber and HVAC rep both concluded was residual water from the initial leak. (460.00 for them to evaluate for other potential sources). That hole has yet to be corrected. While they were there an attempt was performed to correct the below issues. These additional issues included leaks from both multiple installed panels and the gutters, the support beams, and one of the light fixtures. I have had now a total of 2 visits, with no actual success at alleviating the issues. I have requested 5 more times for a technician to come and correct the issues. I'm now not event getting the courtesy of an email response. So after nearly 2 years, a leaking, ceiling and now further damage to the property under the ceiling, I have taken it upon myself to fix these issues. The continued issues with the leaks between the standard stacked 2X12 beams I have corrected on my own with a wrap of flashing on both acting like a gutter. Not perfect but at least not leaking into the center of the space on the furniture or people. The gutter leaks I had to reapply a gutter calking to alleviate. And unfortunately the light leak I have not been able to correct. I have already lost one ceiling fan, and due to the leak am now loosing one of the leather couches to mold from the moisture. All in all, their ineptitude has cost me an additional 1600.00 conservatively and hours of frustration. I am throwing money at a poorly installed and defective system. I have had three other underdeck ceilings with two other companies. I have never had the amount of problems, or lack of customer service or follow up. I have never felt so cheated and disappointed in a purchase. I am sure there are some good stories out there, but if I ever had to do this again. I would 100% choose another company. Hope this helps."
