The staff and vet at Dorr Vet Clinic are absolutely terrific! Deb is the practice manager and her staff is the best. Dr. Ames is a caring and compassionate veterinarian. Our girls Truffles and CiCi love the wonderful care they receive when they go to Dorr Vet (even when they have to get a shot)!

Excellent - would recommend them to anyone with a beloved pet

I just moved to the area and needed to find a new vet. I chose Dorr Vet. Clinic as it was close to my home. They were absolutely awesome. I have one neurotic dog and one that can be aggressive (I have three dogs total). The clinic was very thorough and spent time aquainting themselves with the dogs which put both myself and the dogs at ease. All three of them responded wonderfully to the staff and doctor. I am so pleased to have a place that really seems to care about my babies. The doctor was very helpful and patient at addressing any of my concerns. They have a client for life!

I take them once a year. We used somebody in Rockford, but that was okay, and the price was high so we came back to Dorr for tooth cleaning and things like that. The price was the problem with the other one. We are going to Dorr next week on Tuesday. The prices are nice, and she gets a treat. I take her to get the shots too. The office staff is wonderful we have had very very nice experience when they take them in. They have a nice run for the dogs; they greet you right at the door and I can tell my dog likes going there because she gets excited when she gets there.
