These guys are pure professionals. They did an outstanding job of trimming our ancient oak tree in our front yard and several more out back. We were impressed with their equipment and crew. Top notch all the way!

Response from GreenStreet Tree Care
"I don't recall the details but the amount quoted to her was $1140. We received only $415. From what she says, she was compensated the full amount. Whatever line we damaged was underground next to the stump and invisible to our worker. Our disclaimer says we are not responsible for underground sprinkler lines. We failed to include power lines since we've never encountered one so close to the soil surface. And why rate us an F for price and quality? It was a contract she agreed to, and she voiced no complaint about the quality of our work. -- Guerin, president of GreenStreet Tree Care."

They give you an honest estimate and they stay pretty close on that. They just walk around the yard to see what should be done and write up an estimate for you. Then they'll get back to you in a week or two depending on their schedule. They did fine. They did the job well. I didn't have any problems. They did pretty good in cleaning up.

Second time we have used them. Very responsive, respectful crew. Cleaned up afterwards. Pricier than two other bids but went on prior work.

We had just completed a home remodel and were left with mud and two dying maple trees left in the area directly in front of the house. With an outdoor party looming at our house, we needed the trees removed so a landscaping project could be completed in time for the party. GreenStreet fit us in and finished the work in time for our landscaper to begin. They arrived when they said they would and got to work. They consulted us about branch removal from the healthy tree as the job progressed. We have used GreenStreet before and will use them again.

"Our records show the year of service was 1999. We sprayed four trees for $85. This report, dated 12 years later, is the first time we have heard that things were not resolved to the client's satisfaction."

They did a fine, and efficient job. Crew was curtious and flexible, and the crew leader provided good advice. They stuck to the original estimate, even though we modified the plan. They chipped all the materials and were happy to leave the chips on site for no cost (we used the mulch and had some to share with neighbors.). Overall, very good.

I don't remember how much they charged me. It was a positive experience with them. There were a couple of hiccups. The first time they came out, they were supposed to take down a tree and grind out that stump, and then grind out another existing stump and they forgot that. So they didn't charge me for that. I asked them to come back when my fence was being put up because there were some smaller bushes in the way. So they asked me if I would like them to grind out the stump there and I agreed to it. So they did do that. They didn't charge me anything extra for that. They were very nice. We emailed back and forth, and they were very apologetic about the first experience. It was good that they were able to admit their mistake which is something hard to find in that kind of work. They rectified their omissions. I think their price was decent. I don't usually just go by the lowest price but I think they were very competitive. Their quality of work was fine. They were responsive. When I called them, they were in the middle of putting up a fence and they got somebody out there that day or the next day. I will use their services again in the future.

The bid was a good number but when it came down to executing the job we had a hard time getting them to do it correctly. There was a lot of miscommunication between the person who did the stump grinding and the owner of the company. Our landscaper had to work with the owner to get the stump grounded so that he could do our landscaping. They couldn't coordinate it right and so our landscaper ended up doing a lot of the work that they should have done. I wouldn't recommend them. Their price is good but the actual execution is troublesome. When they showed up they didn't say that was the day they would show up and we didn't know. Our landscaper was waiting for them to do their part and they didn't and they were supposed to come back with a smaller stump grinder and ultimately our landscaper did it. The owner was the one not professional and it was not the workers fault that it was messed up. They did a pretty good job considering the situation. I think the owner is the problem.

"We try to assure that every client is satisfied, but this was not our most shining hour. It was a difficult situation with several constraints w.r.t. timing and access. In the end the job was completed at an exceptional price and in accordance with the specifications we offered in the quotation."

The work was done well and expeditiously. Cleanup was excellent. Although the job took two sessions--the first session was interrupted by rain and lightning, and they did not want to be up a tree during a lightning storm--the second session was done the next day. Good, clean, professional job.

Fantastic. I had heard about how expensive tree services were, so had nightmares about how much this was going to be. I was also worried that they would come and say that these awesome trees would need to come out (that they would not be able to handle being trimmed up so high). None of those fears came to pass. The owner came and did a walk around estimate. About two weeks later they came to do the trimming. They did the work while I was at work and no one was at home. The newly trimmed trees looked awesome, they did a very good job with shaping them so that there was no awkward stumps hanging out, and all trimming/branch residue had been cleaned up.

It was a very positive experience. They came out on time and we walked through the whole yard and did not try to talk me into things we wouldn't be needing. He was professional and listened to me. They did a great job when they came out and they cleaned up really well.
