Dry Cleaning Service
I have just picked up a rug that was cleaned by the Dewitt facility only to be told that it has been ruined. Upon opening the bag, I found that the backing has come off and it has been shredded around the edges and there is a large ball of knotted string hanging from it. When I asked the manager what could be done, her response was that she would not charge me for the cleaning ?this time?. She then said that they never know when something will come out bad and that the customer takes the responsibility for any ruined items and that I ?am lucky? that she was not going to charge me. I am sick about this. Not only am I out a very nice Pottery Barn rug but also I was treated with complete disrespect.
