I ordered a plant via a link on an obituary that was for $118 all-in. The plant was to be delivered to the memorial services for a family friend. I was unable to attend the services. Two days after the memorial, I received a generic notice and a refund from Life Tributes with zero explanation except that they had gotten my “feedback” and were therefore issuing a refund. This was alarming and confusing so I contacted the company. They responded promptly to me inquiry and told me that they were unable to source a local supplier for the plant I had ordered off their website for the memorial and that they had attempted to contact me twice to get my approval for an alternative product ( here’s a problem: they contacted me on the day of the 10am funeral services and the day after according to their records - both too late). So they cancelled my order. The sympathy gesture I paid them for never happened. I normally call local florists myself - it’s cheaper and more importantly it gives me the opportunity to speak with the actual florist for advice. Why pay these middlemen 3rd party contractors who pinch the local business owners and take a piece anyway? I was really let down by this company and now I have to explain to my close friends who just buried their dad what happened and why they didn’t hear from us during their time of need. Crap!

Terrible customer service. Charged $75 more than local florist they contracted for the job. Charged $20 just to place order with local florist. Flowers looked nothing liked the photo on their website.

The picture on-line was very deceiving and they said to provide an 8 X 10 picture but the opening was much bigger so it looked ridiculous!!

we ordered Teleflora "Quiet Expressions" arrangement for a dear friend's funeral. The arrangement received appeared nothing at all like the picture on the website. It arrived on time but was just not at all what we wanted as a tribute for our friend. When we returned from the visitation i sent an e-mail of complaint stating our disappointment. They wanted us to send them a picture of the arrangement for them to review and then they would "determine the next steps" I sent a reply that I would not be taking pictures during my friends funeral to verify my complaint was justified. I feel they should do their own quality control- why should that be the customers responsibility? They are dealing with customers who are already upset over the loss of a loved one. Their final email restated the disclaimers on the site- you may not get what you order  because of bla-bla-bla.... I say if you are a Teleflora florist you should have their containers/vases/supplies so people get what they pay for.  Don't have pictures of arrangements you can't deliver.
