smooth as can be. I called on a Saturday morning. The owner was coming to my area, and arrived within a hour. He unclogged our drain, and gave me a few plumbers tips.

Overall, he completed the work and accomplished the end result but I was still dissatisfied. I would never use this company again.

I called at 7 a.m.and Mr. Norman actually answered the phone! Work scheduled and completed same day. Invoice sent promptly. Always answered his phone personally, which is a real asset dealing with tradesmen.

The plumber had trouble finding our place but did call and let us know he was going to be late. The plumber was very courteous. He seemed to do a thorough job. This was the cheapest price I could find for a sewer snaking. Since this seemed like a straightforward process, I was comfortable going with the cheapest company. My only complaint would be that he did not clean up that well after finishing. There was still some dirt where he was working but since it is an unfinished basement, this did not bother me too much. Overall, I would have my line snaked by this company again.

I did not want to write a lousy review for a company that seems based and does work in my city, this business' problems need to be addressed. The first experience--the wash tub replacement in December '09--was relatively smooth, though the later work makes me suspect there might be problems down the line. They sent the same guy for the second job in February '10. In breaking through drywall to replace a pipe, he sliced an electrical line, and then claimed there was a short in the back porch light, which was--as a result of his mistake--dead, along with a lot of lights and outlets at the back of the house. The electrician they sent out to correct this worked in fits and starts and only completed the work after I called to complain that he wasn't finished. The plumber's replacement of the guts of my upstairs toilet was also a problem. The toilet would no longer flush completely. He so abused the toilet in trying to clear it (which was really not the problem) that it had to be replaced. He also brought a younger relative in to help him. This kid was unskilled and actually used a large flat-head screwdriver in prying the toilet off the floor, leaving large scratches. Between drawn out and incomplete work, this went on and on over three weeks. Since I began not to trust his workmanship or his behavior, I had to come home from work to keep an eye on things. Tried to negotiate w/ the owner for a refund. His manager was more apologetic and sympathetic, but finally the owner was not responsive. One of the worst experiences of my 30+ years maintaining property.

The employee waited until he had welded the new parts to the house plumbing to let me know that the faucets did not fit. I had to call the manufacturer who told me I needed a kit to adjust the faucets so they would fit. I had to wait a week for the new parts to arrive and have them installed. The installer seemed confused. He left one faucet handle crooked. When I tried to straighten it, it fell off. He had not aligned the handle with the inner workings of the faucet. I called to have that corrected and at 11:30 he said he would be here in two hours. He did not arrived until after 5 pm. Overall, a great price, but not worth it for the poor quality.

I met with the plumber that morning at my Dad's house, and told him the shower had not been used in years. I also told him what type of shower head we wanted. He did his investingation, and told me that he would have to get specific parts, but would return to complete the work the same day. He returned in a timely manner, and the work was completed shortly thereafter. We were very satisfied, and things are working well. The plumber was knowledgeable and professional.

Drain backed up into my utility room. Called Norman. Service man came out and on time. Cleared drain. Ask if could fix a faucet will there, and they did. Thanks very much!

Raw sewage had backed up in my utility room. Call Norman plumbing on short notice. He said he would send some one right out. They arrived on time, unstopped the drain and also fixed a leaky bathtub faucet.

I called the number listed on your website and spoke directly with the owner. I explained my problem and he made an appointment right away. The serviceman called the day of the appointment to let me know his previous job was running long and he would be approximately 1/2 hour late. He arrived at the time specified, was pleasant, efficient and cleaned up after himself. I would definitely use this company again.

They were running a little bit behind, however they called to let me know beforehand. They worked hard and were able to solve the problem. I give them A's all around.

Excellent!! Mr. Norman had quoted a price of $100.00 to snake my main sewer in the basement. He mention he would be snaking it from my house to the city drain. I had called another company and made an appointment with them. Mr. Norman said he could send someone now. I cancel my previous appointment and Malvin was there within the hour. He snaked the drain and honored my coupon from Angie's list for $25.00 off. If I should ever need a plumber again I will call "Norman's Plumbing", Malvin was very courteous, knowledgable and efficient. Thank you Mr. Norman.

Called the company around noon because water was pouring through my kitchen ceiling. Albert and his cousins arrived shortly after 2:00 p.m. ready to work. This is an old house, so it I can be difficult to repair. Nevertheless, they worked hard and finished in about three hours. The leaking is fixed, the parts they installed look nice and work well, and they charged the exact amount of their reasonable estimate. They were friendly, businesslike and competent.

Courteous and polite, not prompt. We are satisfied with the work.

I previously provided an excellent review. However, less than 2 months later, the tub leak returned and the plumbers did not.

I called Mr. Norman rather late in the day after it was discovered that my dishwasher problem was in fact a plumbing problem. He assured me that his employee Mr. Nixon would be out the next day to assess the situation. Mr. Nixon and his assistant arrived on time and took their time in examining the problem area to be sure it was diagnosed correctly. He explained options as far as material choices and pros and cons of each. He gave me a detailed estimate and I was satisfied that the final selection was cost effective and durable. They did all the work neatly and in a timely manner. The area was cleaned up and the cost was exactly what was quoted. I appreciated his pricing method and the work product. I would call his company again.
