Terrible lack of communication, finish on drive is poor, 6 month's old and cement is already poping, water is running into garage because of improper poring of cement, and gaps along the drive and the house allowing water to run between the brick and drive the expansion joints don't touch the brick. Would never recommend this company to anyone.

"in Response to [Member Name Removed]'s complaints. First of all, [Member Name Removed] is not the homeowner, his daughter owns the home so how can he legitimately make this complaint. We have not been paid for this job yet. We took no money down and unfortunately had to place a lien on the property. We have NOT received any payment to date for the job completed in October 2017. The City of Dearborn inspectors approved the permit, driveway forms prior to pouring the driveway, and gave final approval upon the final inspection. Prior to starting the job, my superintendent pointed out the fact that there was a back pitch in the existing garage floor and when water hit the garage door it flows back into the garage. [Member Name Removed] had stated that he was aware of the back pitch in the garage and always had water in the garage area. He stated that 4 other companies did not want to do this job because of this issue. Communication was there. Several phone calls and emails were answered and addressed. We worked with the city inspector to address issues that were ujnsatisfactory to the homeowner. We went out to this job site several times and made changes and many attempts to satisfy the homeowner and her father. Ultimately, we had no choice and placed a lein on the property. We are waiting to be paid on this project. A project that has a final approval by the City of Dearborn."

Originally I called for an estimate for stamped concrete. Sal came over in two days, and while talking to him he recommended that we go with open aggregated concrete. I was given the pros, and cons of what I wanted to do, and it was good advise. Sal was trying to show me how the patio would look according to the type of yard I have, and I am lucky for the advise. I got 5 other estimates from other companies, but all they gave me was just a price, I did not feel the personal touch, that I received from Sal's company. It was a very good experience, and Sal saved me $2000.00 dollars with his suggestions.

Sal came out for a quote within days of my call. He was friendly and gave lots go suggestions for my patio.. Once we decided to go with Lacaria, he was easy to work with and exchanged the contract via email. I did have to call a couple of times to get an update on the permit and timeframe for install. Once the permit was approved Sal quickly installed the patio. It exceeded my expectations in the design. The crew cleaned up well. I would use them again.

While we had an issue in getting together the 1st time, after I sent a 2nd request the response was very quick. Sal called and noticed the prior issue and couldn't have been more sincere and apologetic. When he arrived for the estimate, he had the quote from last year and I said - I have more sections of the driveway that need to be added. When he told the price, I asked what it would be do just tear out and replace everything - the offer was acceptable and he sent me his written proposal which I faxed back the next morning. Work was to start the next Monday, but Sunday evening Sal called and said the weather was not going to cooperate, so how about Tuesday? Works for me and the crew called and were there about 8:30 and worked until around 5:30 tearing out the old dirve and sidewalk areas. The next day, my wife said about 12-15 of the crew returned to pour the concrete, level, brush and do clean up. They took care about not damaging anything and did a great job on the tree roots which were causing an issue in several areas. The entire crew did a fantastic job and cleaned up everything each day.
It proves that if you contact the right person, they are capable, professional, caring and will do a fantastic job given the opportunity. I would have no problem recommending them to anyone. (In fact, a neighbor a few doors down had some work done at the same time.)

Lacaria was professional from the moment he shook my hand to the moment they drove a way from a job well. He even worked with us on the price. The workers were on time both days. The workmen where clean, polite and always busy. They even removed tree roots that had broken up the old driveway. They cleaned up the work site and left our yard clean as a whistle.
I am way beyond pleased. In the future if I need more cement work done I'm calling Lacaria.

I can't say enough good about this company and the owner. Great price, worked with me to coordinate all services. Easy to get along with staff even when obstacles came up. The color of the cement matches the older cement.
