We went to the showroom on Greenfield Road and saw the various kinds of railings that would meet our needs. We wanted a railing on the stairs for safety and to blend in with the columns already there. Someone came to our house to measure the porch steps and discuss the installation choices we had. The railing was constructed and installed within a week. It is very sturdy and looks nice. When installed it had a black primer coat and the installer touched up any places that were nicked during the installation. We were cautioned to paint it with a finish coat in the spring when the weather allowed. Altogether, we are very satisfied.
