Mr. Zammit noted it would be quite a while wait, as I must stay until complete. It took, 70" min. to get vehicle in for service, service took, 1 hr., 40 min. That is NOT a long time; either to get in the bay, but especially not to remove & replace a front axle assembly. Bless my mechanic!

Since moving to the Detroit area 2 years ago, I have had bad experiences attempting to have even minor maintenance services performed on my vehicle, which is over 10 years old, and I am totally dependent upon for my families transportation. After speaking with a trusted coworker about this, he recommended Sam's Downtown Mobile Service. Sam and his staff are extremely professional and honest. I have an extremely limited budget, and he advised as to what work was necessary to safely drive my vehicle, and what could wait. He gave me timetables for the future work and estimates. I could not have asked for a more friendly, understanding, and compassionate environment. (because I almost cried when he told me how many things were wrong with my vehicle.). This was my third time getting service at Downtown Mobile, the first visit was an oil change and checkup, the second was for brakes and rotors. Each time, i received friendly, professional service, and fair pricing. I will not take my car for service any place else. Having reliable transportation is much too important to chance it.

I arrived about 30 minutes before closing time. Sam stated he would still check my car. After 30 minutes he asked me if my car would hesitate when its racing, I said "yes". They resumed testing my care and asked me if they can replace the ignition module which was damaged. They told me it would cost $128.00, I said yes. His accuracy in diagnosis prevent me from pending money on a more costly and unnecessary repair work.

I came i for a wheel alignment during the time of opening, I was amazed of their response time,they took my vehicle right in in less
than 10 min. after opening,and were finished in less than 30 min.

Sam Zammit is the owner and he's fantastic! He is honest, he is fast, he
is precise, he will recommend what is best and is great about finding
an inexpensive method to fix something as opposed to only offering the
most expensive fix. Important to me since I tend to drive older vehicles
that I don't care to sink a bunch of money into. Sam also stored one of
my cars there for over a year when I wasn't sure what to do with it
after the transmission went out. He spent hours trying to repair it and
when faced with needing a new transmission, he didn't charge me a dime
for the time he spent and to store it for me afterwards.

i have used this service center before on other autos - they explain the problem throughly and gave options - i feel that my auto is safe to drive and i was dealt with honestly
