Ted did an amazing job installing our new tile and grout floor! His crew showed up on time, did a great job and cleaned up after they were done with the project. Excellent craftsmanship installing a larger tile on a not so even basement floor. A job well done.

Excellent! Never an issue. Always quality work. Always showed up!!!! On Time?!? Yep. Always great price considering skills needed. My wife likes patterns &T worked with us on a doable design that looks GORGEOUS. We have the Italian glass tile bathroom We always wanted. Works extremely hard, never loafed. Can't say enough. Iwon't call anyone else. A+++ A+for quality work (well worth it) ++being multi lingual +++patient&accommodating w/Grandma. Well... She's a tough lady to please. After she saw our work, she used him too. Beautiful kitchen NOW &before it was old nasty stick tile ugh. Her happy makes us smile.

Stop looking Ted's is the real deal!

Ted is a good tile guy. He arrives on time, and does a good job. We're fairly impressed with his work as a general rule, and would 'consider' using him again if the situation arose. (he'd have to bid this time)  However there are a few caveats to our recommendation you should consider..
1) Ted requires you to buy your own tile. Depending on your circumstances, this may not be acceptable. Tile is very heavy, cumbersome, and annoying to buy, transport, and bring into the home. With a lot of tile, this can be an absolutely daunting task! Certainly if you aren't young, healthy, and capable of lifting 60-80lbs at a time, don't bother.
2) Ted requires 'all' extras be purchased! Footings, etc. This came at a bit of an annoyance. I was at work, and he told my wife to go to home depot to buy threshold footings. Seriously?  My wife wasn't too happy about that, so she turned him down, and ended up going to get it himself.
3) Ted is expensive. Our 'small' (as in 40sq feet TOTAL) Bathroom and Foyer cost us $700.00 to have re-tiled. Figure he will cost you $17-$18 a square foot NOT including tile!  So a large kitchen of say 400sq feet is going to cost you $7000+ to have done. Keep that in mind - we've had tile guys work for $10-12 a square foot before, and do a great job. Ted happened to be in the area, and already working on our home.
4) Ted WILL NOT haul debris.. He filled one of our trash cans with 92lbs of scrap, and the trash people refused to take it. So we're left with 92lbs of construction debris we aren't sure what to do with!
5) Ted isn't the most cordial, but most construction workers lack almost all qualities of a good personality. My wife asked "So we can't walk on the tile until tomorrow?" and he replied "That's common sense..".. Not a good way to talk to the lady of the house if you want more business!
