Not well. We needed a new shower faucet cartridge to stop a drip. Workers were friendly I will say that. They were unable to find replacement cartridge so put old one back in. He informed us old cartridge had been installed backwards 29 years ago and he now fixed it. Yes, the shower head stopped dripping but the shower handle started dripping. When you turned it on to cold setting hot water came out and switching to hot water setting cold came out.. So we ended up calling someone else who replaced the cartridge with one from home depot and everything is working perfectly again. I certainly would sadly not recommend you use plumb o matic.

Awful. I was absolutely scammed by plumb o matic. Dillon is not only a scam artist but a jerk. He runs a absolute crap show of a company. I would absolutely never use them again or recommend them to anyone. They made a diaster out of my home, lacked to get the permits they needed and also overcharge you like crazy. They threaten you when you refuse to give them more money and play basketball in your front yard instead of work.

Our basement drain backed up today and I couldn't get it unclogged with a manual snake. There was a thunderstorm on its way and we were worried we might flood. After calling and calling for help and no one being available, Dylan from Five Guys Plumbing answered and said he could be here immediately. He came, assessed the problem, explained what he could do right now and what potentially could be a larger problem down the line. He was courteous and worked quickly, answering all of our questions along the way.

Two Plumb-o-matic reps came out to determine why my sump pump was discharging onto the ground from the overflow at the back wall of my house. They accessed the line to snake the drain. When they could not clear the line they used a camera to view the line. Their diagnosis was: (1) The line was broken and too clogged to clear with even their best equipment. (2) The location of the break was straight out from the house about 20-25 feet. (3) The only repair would be to get a city permit, dig up the back yard, and replace the pipe (estimated cost would be $6500.00)!! Oh by the way, since they don't take checks, I had to come up with $200 CASH, on the spot, for Plumb-o-matic's failure to open my drain. The next day a different company, capable of digging up the yard to make the repair, came out. Fortunately that company's rep wouldn't take the word of another company. He put a camera in the line and determined it could probably be cleared by snaking the line. He used a commonly used snake and cleared the line in less than half the time as the Plumb-o-matic reps. He also marked the spot of the clog, which was about 11-14 feet away, and 3 feet higher, from the previous estimate. Best of all my cost (with a tip) was about $6200 LESS than Plumb-o-matic's repair estimate. So I called Plumb-o-matic to explain I would leave a factual report on Angies List. The "master plumber" argued that I had a major problem that needed to be fixed by digging. I reminded him that his competitor cleared my line with a common snake. He argued that his company could fix problems like this, where most others could not. I reminded him that his competitor succeeded, in less time, where his company failed. So he offered to do the $6500 repair (less the $200 previous payment) if I decided to hire them within 3 to 5 days. I politely promised that would not happen. He asked that I recommend his company to anyone who needed plumbing services. I told him to have a nice day.

"I'm very sorry you feel that way. We came out there sent 2 professionals to you with all the equipment to handle application we used two drain machine and camera inspected your line. You didn't want to pay after we cut the prices on all the services due to the drain not being able to be open but also stated to put money towards repaired if hired due to your sump pump line needing to be repaired we simply told you 259 for all the services done and you didn't want to pay anything for all the technicians work and time so we lowered the bill to 200 total for all the work done. And that was still a problem and we did not demand 200 cash on the spot. We simply take credit card and cash The most 2 common forms of payment and most companies do not take check. Also if there were any problems like not being able to pay by the most 2 common ways to pay these days which are credit and cash you really should confirm with someone you hire and bring in your home to do any type of business. We were really not appreciated how we was treated by disrespecting us and our company, we simply was telling you about the repair needed and you was getting very mad and upset at us. The 2ndcompany that came out there also quoted you to do the repair, so you know your have an issue on the sewer but continue to call and tell us rudely that your leaving our company a bad review. and I did not tell you to tell anyone one you know to refer us our company. I simply called you back nicely after reviewing your case and situation with the technician and he stated you seen the camera screen but continue to be rude so I'm very sorry you feel that way and your upset that you have an issue with you sewer line. Now a days only a few think that the plumbing company that they hire are responsible for their sewer line. when I called you back I only told you after explaining the situation towards the end of the call not to refer us but to simply call us if you need us like the repair you need done or any other company as long as you fix it that'[Member Information Removed] all that matters and we are happy to help and I'm sorry your upset. So please I wasn't happy to hear that you lied and said that I think you should refer us to everyone you know after having a complaint like that. We only tried to help you and again please call us if you need us for any plumbing needs, Thank"

This is my first time using Angies list. The technicians were very nice. So no complaints about the personell. There was a $40 charge for an estimate. This was not dicussed when setting the appointment or upon arrival. Was told after review of the job. The fee would be taken off the cost of the job, but the quoted price was was more than double other estimates.

Initially, I provided a poor rating for the company. The company owner read the review and contacted me by telephone to ask details about the experience I had with his two workers. I understand now that the men did not follow protocol and miscommunication occurred. The owner went out of his way to make my experience positive by explaining how things should have gone, refunding me the cost of the service call and providing me a gift card (it really wasn't needed) so that I was satisfied. Dillon personally delivered on the promise. For this reason, I will use the company for future repairs. Thank you, Dillon.

I called Dillion for a toilet flushing issue in a rental property. He had a busy day, but agreed to come by that evening. The job ran long, so he was a little later than planned. But he showed up, wasn't able to duplicate the problem, and so there was nothing to fix short of proactive snaking or replacement. I opted to wait and see. He didn't charge me for the service call. This was last night and the toilet is still working fine. He will have my business when I have another plumbing issue.

The company wouldn't make an appointment. Just said they would call me the next day if they had extra time. I also found the technician to be quite rude. I would not use them again. Were they the worst? No, the work was fine, the drain got cleared. But there are plenty of plumbers, you can find a better expirience elsewhere.
