I highly recommend Michigan Bathtub Refinishing. I had a tub in a rental property that was in rough shape and needed either replacement or refinishing. Brian provided exceptional communication, guidance and service. I saved thousands of dollars by having the tub and tile refinished and they did a phenomenal job! It looks brand new. I couldn't be happier with the price and the quality of the work. Thank you!!

Bath tub refinishing was the project. The company had to come out 3 times to fix terrible workmanship on our bath tub. The last time was Brian himself. We called him again within the last two weeks to fix it again and he wonâ t return phone calls. I would like to attach photos to show you how bad the tub looks but it doesnâ t allow it on this site

Service from my initial call to completion exceeded my expectations. Albeit there was some delays, they came on a Saturday and put the final touches to the end, including doing a fine job of cleaning at the very end.

I was not satisfied with the work and reached out several times. Sent pics as requested and still no response. This was my first time hiring from Angi.

I hired Brian to reglaze my tile shower walls and bathtub. They came and sprayed the shower and tub. The next day I noticed you could still see some grout through the paint. They came promptly and added another layer of paint. A few months passed and I noticed the grout is still showing and the tub has some air bubbles forming. I called Brian and he said they would come spray again and that this happens sometimes. He assured me he would call me the following week. That was months ago. He is not responding via text to my messages. Today 1/2 of the paint pealed off the tub. I am not mad. This company wasted my money and did a poor job. I just want people to know they are not a competent company they will not resolve issues when they arise. I will now fix the tub and shower as I should have instead of looking for a quick fix.

Would highly recommend this company! Needed a sink re-glazed and they did a great job! Not only was I pleased with how quickly they were able to come out and get the job done, the communication with the technician who did the job was amazing. If I need to get something like this done again I will be calling here again!

After contacting Brian he responded promptly and was able to send someone out to recoat my tub before the week was over. They arrived on time and within a few hours had finished up so now my bathtub looks good as new.

I contacted Brian from Michigan Bathtub Refinishing and he was able to get me in the following week which really surprised me, but made me very happy I was going to get my tub done sooner than later. The technician that came out did an absolutely amazing job and he was professional, courteous and answered all my questions. After the job was completed the technician brought me into show me the finished product. All I can say is WOW that tub from 1946 looked absolutely amazing and like new.!! The technician cleaned up the area he was working in and left no mess behind and I was extremely happy and satisfied with the job Michigan bathtub refinishing had done for me. I definitely would recommend Michigan Bathtub Refinishing for anyone looking to update their bathroom and save some money by just refinishing the tub instead of buying a new one.

06/28/22 update: Michigan Bathtub reached out to me after my prior review update (from 5 to 2 stars) and explained they’d lost my phone # and weren’t able to reach me for the follow up on the tub. We cleared up the misunderstanding and were able to schedule for them come touch up the work today. They have regained my trust and respect for that! 06/20/22. Unfortunately have to update this review. After inspecting the bathtub once it had dried, I noticed the finish was pretty rough in addition to the flies that ended up in the paint. I don’t know whether they just didn’t sand enough or dust/ exterior sediment fell into the paint as it was drying (due to the window being open), but it def. was not a smoothly finished tub. You can see and feel all the imperfections. Needless to say I wasn’t satisfied, so I called the company about it (bear in mind I’d already called them about the flies earlier and they said they’d take care of it). They got back to me and said they would need to see when they could fit me into their schedule, but that I shouldn’t worry- the will definitely take care of it. I haven’t heard back from them since In over a week. It’s been almost a month since the first job was done and I paid for it-they seemed so professional at first but service seems to have been reduced to just lip-service since the money went through. 05/26/2022 Review: Very professional service and customer service. Whole job took only a few hours to complete and finish looks good so far as it dries. My only minor complaint is the bathroom window was left open without a screen to air out the room as it dries, and some flies came in and started sticking to the paint. I called and expressed the concern- Now Hoping they can be cleaned up without issue/damage to the finish once dries, but Michigan Bathtub Refinishing committed to sorting it out of there are any issues after drying. Overall great service so far, with fingers crossed there are no issues with the final finish.
