I use them because in the past when I'd venture to other places the service was not as good.

I thought the price was a little high. I started going due to the prices but they are slowly going up. 

The quality of work is pretty good, they are very responsive and get you in fast.

They might be expensive but they use original parts on your car. The changed a bit of the time the last time we were going in.

We would use them again in the future.

On my Honda CRV I had new rotors installed in front and the back rotors were turned and new brake pads. Although their charges were very high, I left satisfied. Two weeks later I had to return. My brakes were rubbing and my new rotors were warped. They had to turn the new (warped) rotors, replace two new brake pads and replace two calipers, very expensive on a Honda! This cost me an additional $680.00. They said there was no warranty on the failed work. They gave no discount or consideration. My only recourse was to talk to the service mgr. who did NOTHING except to defend his technician. He used that tired line of BS: "This is the guy I'd get to work on my MOTHER's car.He's our best mechanic." Yeah, right! All that noise and I never implied that he was less than competent! I spoke to my cousin, an automotive engineer for Ford motors. I spoke to my brother-in-law, a service mgr for 25 years at Varsity Ford and with my friend who has been a mechanic for over thirty years. All three were enraged and told me (in no uncertain terms) that La Fontain's mechanic was incompetant , careless, and most probably generating return business for them at the behest of a dishonest service manager or dealership. I spoke to a couple lawyers who said it was a case I should take to small claims court. I did not do so because I could not prove what I knew to be true. My expert friends told me that the lug nuts were improperly torqued and, since they do have torque wrenches, it had to be deliberate. I will never do business again with La  Fontaine and I strongly recommend that nobody else risks it either. This is American business at its worst.

At time I was satisfied with service. Approximately 2 weeks after warranty service, my brakes started vibrating and rotors generating heat. Went back to LaFontaine needed two calipers to be replaced.

I use LaFontaine for most of my basic maintenance services because 1) it's reasonably priced ($11.40 for oil change including tax you can't beat that) and 2) they give a more vehicle specific diagnosis of anything wrong with my vehicle, that I then use to shop around for cheaper services. The main drawback is that they're a dealer and auto services costs reflects that.

I like their service. The price is fair.

I was quite satisfied overall. I thought the A/C was a bit pricy but was within what I was prepared to pay. The prices for the other services ranged from reasonable to dirt cheap. The employees seemed friendly and competent and there was no pressure of any kind. Service was fast and efficient. The shop area looked clean and well organized. I'll definitely use them again.

Car was returned after appox. 1 hour with service completed. Driving home, the car did not feel as if it was running properly in terms of handling. While moving over to take car back, the driver front tire fell off. Car was then on rim, tire rolling down a busy highway, Telegraph Road. Fortunately, there were no injuries or accidents but there was a huge potential of disaster. There was significant damage to the vehicle. Dealership was contacted. They came to tow car back and provided a free loaner while car was being repaired at no expense. The tire lugs on that wheel had not been tightened. The potential for multiple accidents and human injury was emminent. This was irresponsble error made by the service shop. Will not go there again.

We started looking on the Internet. They gave us a good price and explained all the details of the deal. They are very price competitive with other dealers. They are very professional and we had a good experience buying our second Honda.

The salesman was Greg, I worked with him prior to this sale and used this time. He is a great sales person and works with you to get you the car that you want. He is really good.
