About us

Our story begins with the nephew of Henry Ford himself. Robert W. Ford founded the Bob Ford dealership on Michigan Avenue in Dearborn. His son took over in the '60s and he continued the family business for decades. Until 1983 when Marv Walker took on the dealership and crowned it Fairlane Ford. Today, his daughter Julie Walker is the President of Fairlane Ford and she continues the legacy that has brought customers back for nearly a century. The grounds have changed through the decades, but our customer commitment remains.

I've been using Fairlane Ford's service department for a few years - they are always friendly and easy to work with. Plus I love the fact that they don't treat me like an idiot when I bring my car in. They take the time to answer all of my questions, and give me all of the details that I need. Service is always fast, and my car is ready when promised. I will definitely keep taking my car to them for service.

They are very good, prompt and do good work. I have never had a problem with them. They have never high pressured me into anything so they tell me if something is due if I don't already know. They run specials and I take advantage of them if I can so they are very good. They charge $ 21.95 for oil change, filter and inspection. They also wash your vehicle like give it a light wash. I would give them A's all the way across and would continue to use them in future.

This was a quick fix for me. The mechanic identified the problem right away. I was also happy that my vehicle was still under warranty, so the service was free.
