I loved working my yard but have always hated edging my lawn. (I live on a corner lot so there is a lot of area that requires edging.) I was trying to find a service provider that would be willing to edge my lawn once a month throughout the season. As I wasn't looking to hire anyone for lawn mowing, clean up, fertilization or landscaping, I wasn't sure I would be able to find anyone who would take on such a small job. Bass Grass was not only willing to take me on as a client, he agreed to only billing me once at the end of the season as opposed to billing me every month. So far I have had the work performed once at I was very pleased with the results.

Owner copped an attitude when I asked not to mow when grass was burnted and didnt need mowing..Then he had the nerve to up the price! I would never suggest this company for lawn care, thank you...,,,,,

Bass' Grass Service consistently does a very good job. I've been with them for ten years ( I am supposed to avoid pollen and leaf mold exposure). They really do an excellent job with the fall and spring cleanups, and collecting all the leaves from the large oak trees on my lot. I have also used their services for tree trimming and on occasion gutter cleaning.
You are billed monthly for the services. The owner, Clint Bass, is usually reachable by phone and easy enough to communicate with. Sometimes they'll get a new(?) guy on the crew who gets carried away with the weed whacker and ends up scalping the lawn around posts and trees, but all it took was my mentioning it to them and they were more careful.
They are not way super cheap, but totally reasonable! Before hiring Bass' Grass Service, I found a neighborhood kid who would mow the lawn for $12 a week, but he was often a no-show, didn't bag debris, didn't edge, and sometimes left a mess which was not swept up. Fail. Also tried another service years ago that damaged some of my sprinkler heads--and then they denied it. Another fail. I've had none of these, or any other, issues in ten years with Bass' Grass Service.
