Sam, the owner of this independent family-run company came to our house to give us an estimate. The following week, after he ordered the needed parts, he came over and personally did all the work quickly and competently. He encountered a couple of windows that were designed to be difficult to replace the glass (so the owner would be forced to order a complete new frame) but Sam took the windows to his shop and replaced the glass anyway, going above and beyond the call of duty, without asking more money to do so.
Sam was consistently polite, professional and honest.
It's good to know that companies like this still exist!

Here is what Sam Nevets did for us to make a failed project a super success.
We had a screened in porch project that Nevets Glass saved
and now we have a fantastic outdoor room that is bug free.
We had been working with a contractor, Glass Tek, for over a
year to build a screened in porch and they never could get the screens or
screen doors installed.
After a year of failed promises we fired Glass Tek and found
Nevets Glass and Screens in Dearborn.
We met with the Nevets owner Sam and discussed options of how
the screens could be made to fit the commercial framing that was installed by
Glass Tek.
The problem was Glass Tek was not familiar with installing screens and they
incorrectly used a framing that was designed for
Glass, but was not well suited for screen installations.
Sam came to our home and worked out a solution that would
allow the screens to be installed in a way that would hold up over time and fit
the look of our extruded aluminum framing.
Sam also found a nearby company who made us two custom sliding
glass and screen door systems that matched our extruded aluminum framing
perfectly.
Within a few weeks our screens and glass/screen doors were
installed and our screen in porch was finally usable.
Sam also introduced us to Bill from Williams Glass who
completed the metal work on our framing and the deck railing
system that Glass Tek left unfinished.
We are very happy with the final product and the reasonable
pricing that Nevets charged for his work.
In addition, his recommendation of Williams Glass was the
final step we needed to wrap up a project that took over 14 months to complete,
but should have only taken two.
I am sure had we worked with Nevets and Williams Glass from
the start we would have had been done on time and it would have been a lot less
expensive and much less frustrating.
I highly recommend Nevets as a screen and glass contractor.

All work was done as expected and even less than the quoted price. Some new parts were not needed and the old parts could be used effectively.
I would definitely use them again for any job large or small.
