I hired Glass Doctor of Dearborn Heights to replace 5 windows in my house that lost seal. I am in the process of selling the house. It took them 2 appointmentins to measure the windowsallation. and about 4 weeks from ordering to instalation. First disappointment was with mix up of my appointment time. I had written down 11am to 2 pm, and according tothe installers it was 8 am to 12pm. I rushed to the house, the installers arrived without the right equipment, and did not have shoe covers or masks. First they offered to reschedule for next week and I explained that this job has to be done today. They went back to the store to get all the right equipment. Came back hour and a half later, and this time I was informed the windows were the wrong size. Also, even after I requested installers to wear masks inside the house, they disobeyed my request and did not wear masks inside the house. At that point I was so frustrated with all the unprofessionalism that took place, that I decided not to replace the windows and cancelled my order all together. As a result, in my sale contract I am obligated to change the windows, which puts me in very bad position with a buyer, but I can not trust this company to do this job any longer. And I have to disinfect and clean the house after I had installers inside my house without masks even after I requested them to have masks on inside the house. Plus I have a huge sign in front to wear masks. Very disappointed and would not recomend this company.

They could improve their service by showing up when they're suppose to. They did a good job. The window took longer than expected.

The actual installation was done promptly at the scheduled time.  The new window works well.  At the time of installation the technician noticed that the exterior color of the plastic frame on the new pane was pure white whereas the other existing slider door was a beige color.  This difference had not been noted by the technician who initially came to measure and get the specifics for the order of the pane manufacturing.  Since we had waited for the custom pane to be manufactured (and one of the double panes on the window was broken) we went ahead in spite of the color differential since the amount of plastic was small and the color differential was borderline acceptable.

We had a custom component cabinet built into the wall of our basement media room when we remodeled. The cabinet needed a glass door. I called around and felt that the Glass Doctor was best suited for the job. The technician showed up on time, he was clean-cut and very professional. I wanted one large, clear glass door. The technician showed me another option with a split glass door design which is easier to open and close. He also recommended smoked glass and he had samples which convinced me that it was a better option. He took measurements and called me back the next day with a quote. It took about a week to schedule the installation. When the technician came back he was very exact in the installation and it turned out beautifully, better than expected.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB INSTALLING MY GLASS BLOCK WINDOWS. I HAD SEVEN WINDOWS PUT IN. THEY WERE AFFORDABLE FOR NICE LOOKING WINDOWS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR INSTALLING WINDOWS.
