Davison Family Floors, Inc.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. After waiting months for installation (allegedly due to covid), in early August, we finally got our kitchen floor installed. The installers Davison Family Floor sent to my home were the most unprofessional I have ever seen. Upon answering the door, the first thing we noticed was the horrible hygiene of the installers, the smell was just about unbearable. My first instinct was to send them away, I did not, a decision I’m still regretting. The installation took two days for a very small kitchen. The installers showed up at 10:30am the first day, and 11am the second day. I’m guessing this is why the install took two days. The installation was average at best, the floor is crooked. The concerns were all the damage the installers did to my home. This is completely unacceptable. I contacted the owner, but of course he did not care, he got his money. I got a crooked floor and damage to my home.

Went perfectly. Did and excellent job and very neat. Not much to tell since it all went without a hitch.

We desperately needed new carpeting and wanted to get rid of the carpet in the bathroom.

We went to the office and were greeted warmly and asked what we were looking for. Of course, what I had in mind for carpeting was nowhere to be found so the hunt was on. She really worked with me to find something as close to what I wanted and needed. Same with the vinyl flooring we were looking for. Trishia worked up the cost to give us an idea and showed us samples of padding to choose from. Explained what was going to be done and what to expect. She was awesome.

Installer came right on time and got right to work. Minor glitch in the fact that the wrong padding was in his truck, but was corrected right away. Did an beautiful job installing the carpeting. We asked for a square of vinyl flooring be installed by the front door, which they did beautifully. Same goes for the bathroom. Very conscientious about his work. Don't understand why one review stated not professional. Unless you say that be friendly isn't professional.

Wasn't time to install the molding around the vinyl flooring in the bathroom, so MIke asked if it was ok if he did it the following day. I think the guy would have stayed there and finished if I had said no. We weren't doing anything and I wanted to put the things back in the living room so it was fine with us.

Everything was finished up the following day. Mike and his son made sure they cleaned up after themselves. Made sure the toilet worked ok (had to be removed for subfloor and flooring) and made sure that I had everything taken off my shelves (I forgot) and worked around me.

Very nice people to work with. The men who laid the flooring were very nice, willing to please. Started on Tuesday, finished on Friday. We had 5 estimates from different companies. Davidson flooring had the best quality for the price.
