Adams Power Wash
About us
All work is billed when the job is completed. That gives the customer the guarantee that we will complete the job to the best of our ability in a timely manor. All the risk is on us. For exceptionally large jobs, a portion of payment may be requested after the wash, but before the seal. Again, that is in the case where a large amount of material has to be purchased to complete the project.

"I apologize, we are not on-line often and was not aware of this review. However, this project was followed through and handled with our regular phone communication to the customer. A picture of the completed job is so pretty, it is used as our advertising picture on Yelp. You can go to Mr Clean Power Washing Yelp to see the picture. Or click on this link: [Information Removed] History of the project: This was a referral from a friend. The deck had a heavy coat of a different product the customer had been putting on the deck for years. We did a heavy chemical strip (normally billed at $1.00/ sq. ft. was discounted to normal wash price of $.55 / sq. ft) We used TWP to seal the deck. The customer called back during our busiest time of the year which are the two months of May and June. His complaint here was basically smack dab in the middle of our 15 hour days. I am not trying to excuse the fact that I did not get immediately right back to him. I am trying to give great customer service to each and every customer we have. Every single customer is important to us. Every single customer would love to have their project done as soon as possible. Michigan has a short season for everyone to enjoy their yards. Also, sealing decks has to be done when we have sunny days. We have way more rain during this busy time, than dry days. We work through the weather obstacles as best we can. We may not be fast enough for everyone, but we try. I also have to say we make the vast majority of our customers very happy with the quality of our work, our timeliness and our customer service. Without seeing this review, as in it did not prompt our attention to this customer, we resolved his issues. As stated, the chemical used to strip his old product prohibited the new sealer from staying on his deck. We use a lot of water to flush the deck after the strip trying to get all the chemical out of the wood. Then we sealed the deck. He was concerned because the sealer seemed to not stay on the wood. He called and voiced his concern. We appreciate that. We did contact him. We did go back. We did re-wash the deck to even it out again and re-flush the deck. We also re-sealed his deck. Please go to the picture on this site. That is the finish picture. We value every customer. We do our best. The nature of what he had on his deck and what had to be done to get it off had a direct effect on how the next sealer could hold. Thank you for reading our response. We hope you someday will be one of our valued customers"
"I am responding to this in the year 2019. I have not been on Angie's List for years and did not know this was posted until today. I have no record of business with [Member Name Removed] in the year 2016 or any other year. We are not power washing in November nor December. Most of our work is done April, May and June. The work performed after that is still a reasonable amount, however the volume of work diminishes in the following months. All of our work is completed by September. She wrote this in December. The damage she describes is impossible to do with a power washer. We do not seal a wet deck....ever. The entire scenario this person describes is ludicrous. Adams Power Wash has been in business for over 30 years. We are an excellent company and work hard to retain repeat customers. Please read our other reviews. The person who wrote this either has the wrong company, or has left a fraudulent report. I will be in touch with Angie's list regarding this post."
"Mr. [Member Name Removed] procured Adams Power Wash to Wash his home, then Clean and Paint his deck. The home was covered in dirt and mold. It came out spotless. The deck was previously painted, several times. We cleaned the deck, prep for repaint. When we clean, we note areas that had been painted before, and may have been sloppy so we know it wasn't done by us. There were areas on Mr. [Member Name Removed]'s home that had previous over-paint. We were at his home to paint, and Mr. [Member Name Removed] had the wrong color. So we had to wait for him to get the correct color. When the correct paint was available, we had two men on the job. Mr. [Member Name Removed] was there during the work. He oversaw the entire job. He was happy. The men used tarps on all areas. Again, Mr. [Member Name Removed] was right there. He was very happy with the job, told the men so and had called to tell me so. Several days later, Mr. [Member Name Removed] called and left an aggressive message on our answering machine. When I received the message, I called him right back. He apologized for the message he left and asked if Randy could come out and take a look, and fix areas that were sloppy on the house. He did mention that somehow paint got on some leafy shrubs and the leaves were turning brown. He also, acknowledged that those same shrubs did have tarps on them. Randy went back to do whatever was needed. Mr. [Member Name Removed] pointed out two areas where the deck butts up next to the house, the width of a pencil approx. 3" long. When Randy said those were from one of the previous paint jobs, not ours, Mr. [Member Name Removed] became irate and told Randy to leave. Again, I say, Mr. [Member Name Removed] was there at the time of service and he was fine with how the work was performed and how the deck finished. He was really angry when Randy said it wasn't us. Our work was very good. Mr. [Member Name Removed] has a very nice deck and a very clean home. We are proud of our work. Mr. [Member Name Removed] was there during the work and at it's completion and was very happy. It is unfortunate that Mr. [Member Name Removed] took that stance after the work was completed."
