Goodrich Electrical Contracting

My wife and our two dogs went to "enjoy" our weekend in our cabin ( temp was in lower 20's), but when we turned on the main breaker to the cabin, it would not allow electricty to pass through (broken main breaker). I called a friend of mine who is an electrician to confirm we had power to the breaker, he confirmed it, but like me he was up to enjoy his weekend and did not have the tools to fix it. He invited us to go to his cabin where his wife had a hot meal to share with us and to get warmed up while the electricity from the generator would be used to warm up the cabin along with the fire in the fireplace. The snow was coming down and while were were getting warmed up, our friends offered us the opportunity to stay the night with them if it got too cold at our cabin, my wife, myself and our two dogs went to a near by city to pick up some tire chains from a store we called, the snow was coming down a lot harder on our way back. Our friends called and informed us thir dog was very sick and they had to rush back down state to the Vet. We plowed through the snow to reach our cabin only to find the generator was out of gas and it would not restart. So with the temperature dropping and the fire unable to keep up with the dropping temp, we snuggled up near the fire and my wife kept the fire going. We called our snow removal person to let him know we planned to head back down state early in the morning and to hold off plowing. My wife asked me to ask him if he knew a good electrician for we were in need of one. He gave us Andy Goodrich's phone number, we called Andy and shared with him our situation. Andy said he'd come by in the morning and see if he could help. Andy called us early on Sunday and fixed us up with enough power to make it through till Monday when he'd come back and install a whole new service. Andy called us later to see if we were doing fine and to assure us he'd be back to install a whole new service. On Sunday, one of our dogs was so cold she would not come out from under the blankets for 4-5 hours until the cabin was warm enough for her, even though my wife made up vests for both of the dogs. Andy called us a few times on Monday before he came out to check on us and to update us on the cost of the new service. The bottom line is this, Andy was reliable, efficient, did a great job and charged us a great price considering the situation we were in, he made new friends and if we need other work in the future we will call him, or if someone else needs an electrician he will be the first we recommend
