FORGET-ME-NOT LANDSCAPE ARTIST

We agreed to pay $1000.00 for the entire job. It was summer, and we were having a new roof installed & the house painted. We decided to have them remove all the bushes and then have them come back to spread topsoil & plant the grass seed after all the roof & exterior painting was done.They arrived, removed the visible parts of the bushes and dug out the ivy, but said they couldn't finish cutting the roots that were sticking out of the ground because their chain saws had become dull. Umm..you're a landscaping company and you don't bring spare chains with you to a job where you know you'll be dealing with multiple yew and juniper bushes? So they left, telling me that they wanted to leave the stumps of the bushes protruding, and that they'd take care of them when the came back to do the grass. That should have been warning sign #1: they were comfortable with leaving phase 1 of the job unfinished due to their own lack of equipment (spare chains). If it were me, I would have apologized for not being able to finish the job that day, and promised to come back the next day to finish the bush removal. They had no such commitment to basic customer satisfaction.
Roofing & painting were finished 6 weeks later. I called Mike at Forget Me Not and was told they'd be out the following week to finish the job. They never showed up. I let 2 weeks go by before contacting him again last week. Again, no response. I left them a message as recently as 4 days ago (11/7) and here it is 11/11, and as usual, Forget Me Not landscaping is nowhere to be seen. Or heard from.
