After trying the local town groups and getting nowhere, I went on Angie's List and started there. Within less than a day, I received a message back with questions as to what my problem was. I explained what was going on, sent him the necessary paperwork on my pump, and he was here in two days and fixed the problem. Mike was great at explaining what he was doing, showed me exactly what was wrong (the pump was cracked in two places), fixed the problem, and didn't leave until he knew everything was working correctly. I would highly recommend this company for any other problems I have with my pump. He was professional on all levels and he answered my call for help.

Discovered a leak in the pressure tank, as well as a couple holes in the pipe. Replaced pump, pipes, pressure tank.

We were able to schedule an estimate within a week of our inquiry. They answered all our (many) questions in detail and provided two different estimates to reflect our different repair options. We knew exactly what to expect throughout the process, and the crew was even able to complete additional services that arose once the work started (old pressure tank was waterlogged and generally old, needed a new one) within the original time frame.

Mike Wahlfield arrived promptly, diagnosed all issues accurately, and scheduled same-day service at a fair price. The installers, Mike & Paul, also arrived promptly and completed the installation within 58 minutes. This company installed the original well in 1998. The holding tank has a life expectancy of 10 - 15 years; the replacement is even better quality. Even though the final installed price was higher, the company agreed to honor the original quoted estimated price with a senior discount. I would recommend this company to anyone seeking their services.

The Wahlfield Drilling Company employees worked with us to quickly get the needed permit for the drilling, spoke with our insurance company to explain the need for a new well and to be sure what would be covered, and kept us informed of their progress throughout the drilling process. The employees' professionalism and kindness helped make 5 days without running water tolerable.

Did not solve problem.

They arrived on time, did the job, quickly and neatly, charged a reasonable fee. Just as it should be.

Our water pump died on a Friday afternoon and we were leaving town the next day for a 4 week vacation. They came out, diagnosed the problem and organized to get the service truck back here to replace the well pump that afternoon. Despite a hot day with loads of mosquitoes, they worked through it with a sense of humor. I was very glad to have had the referral to this company.

They were here within two days and had to take our pump back to the shop to replace the bearings. Had it back the same day within a few hours. The two men they sent were very nice, very knowledgeable and worked together very well. They fixed the problem and our pump is very quiet now. Had a small leak and they came right back out and had to tighten a nut. Would call them again for any other problems.

I called for a quote. Two days later they called back. They took my info then said I would get a quote. This took several more days compared to two other companies (North Kent and Bell) that got the information and gave the quote in the same day. The quote was around $5K compared to the the other two, both of which were around $3.5K.

They were on time and did exactly what they said they would. Nice guys to work with.

We discovered on 10/28 that we didn?t have water. I called Wahlfield and they dispatched a technician within a few hours. The technician tested several electrical components on our well pump and replaced the control panel, pressure switch and pressure gauge.

The pump to my well stopped working on a Saturday night, of course, so I went to a friends on Sunday and called first thing Monday morning. They could have someone out that morning about an hour after I called--extremely fast service. The tech came out and I thought I would need a whole new pump but it turned out to be just a relay/electrical part that needed to be replaced. The tech did not have it in his truck and had to go get one. He was gone about 1/2 hour and then fixed it promptly. He told me that they leave Monday mornings open for these kind of emergencies. I really appreciate that.

The well was leaking when the pump was operating, so they pulled the whole thing up and replaced the pipes and pump. They had everything they need to do the job, except for one horizontal coupler device, which they were able to have delivered from their shop. The well hadn't been service in 27 years, and it resisted efforts to pull it up, but the crew new a few tricks to make it co-operate. They also had to saw a branch off a tree in order to get their rig to the well. I thought they did a great job. They arrived promptly and were very informative about procedures. I would recommend them to anyone.

VERY courteous and professional employees (including office-staff). Received call from a family member to ensure I had received a call back. Worked around our schedule for both inspection and installation. Highly recommended.

They repaired my one well about 7 years ago, and they repaired my other well about 5 yr. ago. Jim came over today and he said that he thinks I have a problem. He said that I have a leak or something else going wrong. He said that he needed to bring bigger equipment over. He said that we need to pull up my motor to see if there is a crack because I'm not retaining pressure. I trust him and he is very thorough. He is very resonable and they're not call backs they get it done right the first time which is very important to me.

The original owners of the company were the ones that sunk the well here at our home to begin with. We will use them again in the future. I liked their knowledge about the particular problem that I was having. I liked the expertise and experience that they have.
