When I brought the 2 chairs to the store, they looked them over and gave me an estimate of around $400 including the fabric I picked out. This thrilled me, as I have been having a hard time finding a good upholsterer for a good price. They also told me that it would take a week or two for the fabric to arrive, another 2 weeks before they could get to my chairs, and another 2 weeks to finish the job; that made me think they would be done in about 6 weeks. It ended up taking twice that long, I'm not sure why. But to me it was worth the wait because they did a beautiful job. The chairs came out gorgeous (and they were a difficult job in my opinion). The people at The Fabric Place are very friendly and professional, a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely go to them with future reupholstering jobs and for upholstery fabric. I gave them a $50 deposit at the beginning and paid the balance when they delivered the chairs to my home. The total price, including delivery, fabric, and extra tacks (I hadn't bought enough) came to $513.
