I have used Rivers's Edge for about three years and had no complaints, but this year the service has really declined. Prices are good, and staff are pleasant to work with, but the service has not been good, and it's been slow.
In the past my driveway was plowed by 7 AM in the morning, but this year it's often not done till late in the afternoon. Even then they've left wide sections not plowed, and usually there's still an inch or two left of packed snow. When I compare to some of my neighbors, it's just not nearly as well done. On one occasion they plowed so close to the Cedars that they ripped off the string of Christmas lights. I have called and emailed, but as of today I see no improvement. Last night there was a huge dump of snow, and they really should've been out in the evening plowing to get half of it up. I was stuck at my house until friends shoveled out the entire drive by hand. River's Edge never came.
Earlier, I called to voice my concern and they expressed appreciation for the call and said that someone would be out to look at the plowing. No one ever came. I also sent an email, but received no reply to it and service has not improved. Because they are closed on the weekends, it was impossible to connect with them to voice my concern about this latest incident. I couldn't even leave a message their voice mailbox was full. Efforts to email them pictures comparing my driveway to other's failed because their email system can't handle the photos, even when they were reduced to quite a small size. This kind of poor IT is why I downgraded them somewhat in terms of "professionalism."

We have used Rivers Edge for 3 years now to snow plow our driveway. They are very reliable and do a great job. Another bonus is that they come out in the spring and put grass seed down from where the plows might have gotten the lawn. Extrememly happy and prices very good compared to competitors.

I had look up and compared costs before calling for snowplowing and left a message. When they returned my call discuss cost and service and agreed on services to be rendered. But for me I don't like my grass plowed up when plowing the snow. I did complain that the side walk was not being shovel and was friendly and professional and came right out to shovel it. I am not sure I would use them again.

The experience has been pretty good. Every now and then they mess up and when we call them up, they come back and take care of it. Overall, it's good. They mess up by blowing leaves in a place that we don't want them to so we get them to remove it. We've been fairly satisfied with them. They plow our driveway as well. They are pretty responsive. If we call them, they've got somebody working there who will answer the phone and they'll get back to us which is positive about them. I have no idea about their price as my son buys it for me. Their punctuality is pretty good. Their responsiveness is good too. They are professional.
