I was questioning my quote and had advised I would not be using their company do to their prices being almost $2,000 more than 2 other written quotes. They replied back to send us those quotes and we will compare "apples to apples" and if the same we will have the owner look at and change the quote. This was after the original quote was missing an opener. I advised I could send those quotes, however once again I would not be doing business with their company so no need to change the quote. I felt they were price gouging based on charging me $900 for a non-insulated door. When another local company quoted me $580 for an insulated door. I also advised these quotes were handwritten quotes ( as I had to wait for an emailed quote from them) that I would be sending. I also advised they could show"the owner" and maybe would see how I felt I was being price gouging and I ended with have a blessed day. Then came another email from company, remind you I have informed them I do not wish to do bussiness with them 3 times now with this response: "I'm sorry you feel that way, we feel our prices are fair and accurate. We understand your choice to go with a cheaper door/ provider but our recommendation is to get a computerized estimate or a signed contract for these prices so there are no surprise charges at the end." (why are they still emailing me?) I advised that written estimates are the same as computrized estimates I also advised that per their website they offer a cheaper door Colply and I was qouted a more expensive brand Amarr when I specifically advised the vI wanted the cheapest as possible. So I was not happy with the quote and I no longer was going to go back and forth through email. I thought that would end it.....nope, The owner Josh then calls and leaves me a very Nasty voicemail telling me he's never been questioned about his pricing and that I was nasty and rude he's 42 and he wants me to never call or email his company again and go hire another company. Um advised I was not doing business with you and you kept emailing me. Be careful do lots of research and get several quotes

Outstanding! from calling the office the 1st thing on Monday morning getting a friendly voice and identity herself...Jennifer. Wow...5 star all the way. Answered all my questions and concerns but stated might be a day or so but she would check and get back to me...I scheduled appointment...I get a call back and stated they would work me in sometime later today...Matt called and was here in the afternoon...warm, smiling face and so knowledgeable and professiona!...! He had it all under control and fixed...oh I forgot my car was locked in the garage so where was I going? I requested a quote, but they never got back to me.

Called Monday morning, and they asked if the car was trapped inside. I said no, and they said they could have a technician come first thing Tuesday morning. I said that would be fine. Later Monday morning Matt called to say if it worked for me, he could come that afternoon. He came, fixed the spring, adjusted the tension, and oiled everything. Great service!

He did a great job. Quick. He even tightened all screws and bolts on the entire garage door and track.

It went pretty well overall. They arrived 20 minutes late to provide the estimate, but my options were explained well, guy seemed knowledgeable. Slight unprofessionalism from installer - just in general, not a pleasant guy. Who knows, perhaps he was having a bad day. Despite that, I'm very pleased with the door - it's quiet and beautiful.

It went ridiculously well. The person on the phone nicely explained every detail about how it would go, and what it would likely cost. She asked if I'd like to have that fixed today, I said that that would be nice, and she said that would be possible and that I could expect a call before the repair person showed up. She gave me an estimated time of arrival. The actual repair person called in advance as discussed. He showed up and performed the repair, answered my questions, and was out in a half hour. Somewhat related: I got massive husband points from my wife for getting this fixed within hours of it being discovered as broken. Watching the whole process, it seems to me I could probably do it myself, but given the experience I had with this company I would gladly pay them to do it again next time.

Within an hour of my call a technician was onsite to do a routine check of a garage door and opener that came with our new house. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. In fact, within 30 minutes he had completed the inspection and lubrication, eliminated the noisy vibration that rattled the house when the opener was running, and programmer two universal openers for us. Very prompt, professional and reasonably priced. The price above included two new universal openers as well. I will be calling them again next time I'm in need of service or replacement of my garage door.

Also, I called for technical support afterward and they were quick to respond with all information. Pleasant experience all the way through. Would recommend this company without hesitation.

They were quick to respond to my call and will show up and repair/diagnose a problem for a $75 service fee (plus parts). However, the technician did not show during the allotted 4 hour window. Rather, I had to call the office and they located him for me.

They were very prompt in getting us a quote as well as well as getting the garage door installed. We got a quote and had it installed all within the same week, so that was very nice. They were also very helpful.

The repairman was professional, friendly and courteous. He repaired the door and didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need. He was quick with his work and completed it quickly. He explained to me what he was doing and why. They gave me a discount because I used Angie's List and there was a discount listed being offered for Angie's List users. I would definitely use them again!

Showed up on time, replaced the parts that were broken, and charged a reasonable price. They tried to up-sell us, but when we said we just wanted it fixed and didn't need anything extra they didn't push.

I bought my garage doors from Menards and needed to find someone to install. I called Discount Door. It went great!! Matt showed up a few days earlier as planned to take a look at my garage before our scheduled service date. He noticed right away that I needed low hanging support brackets. He called up Menards for me to confirm they had what I needed. On the scheduled service date, Matt showed up on time. Friendly and informative. On the fly, I decided he would be the best to install the hardware locks for the doors too. He had no problems with doing that with the job. Matt of Discount Door was great and I would recommend to anyone. I will be using their services in the future too.

It was a service call and they did great. He had the opportunity to sell me something new but he didn’t do that. He was very honest. I didn’t compare their price with any other company and I didn’t call anybody else.

They were great. I have two garage doors and they came out to fix one. A little while later my other garage door broke and they came out and fixed that one.
