We felt that his complete lack of response was a highly unprofessional manner to conduct business.

I am thrilled with the results. The walls and trim are beautiful. He did all of this within two days and cleaned up and put away everything at night. I had Mr. Wood do another job for us before and he was just as professional this time as he was with the previous job. I recommend him unequivocally. In fact, I have several other rooms that I will have him do soon.

Called Grant to come for an estimate. He was prompt, courteous, told me what had to be done to the original stained balustrades in order to paint them. He sent me an estimate in a timely manner and I accepted the estimate as fair considering the difficulty of the job.
He promised me he would start on a certain date and would be there promptly at 8am. He called me the night before to remind me he would be there the next day. He was there at 8 am as promised and primed all of the balustrades. He asked if he could leave his tools there for the next day and he left them neatly in the area I specified. He returned the next day and put the first coat of paint on them. The final coat was done the following day and I am completely satisfied with his expertise. I was impressed with his professionalism and skill. I would definitely use him in the future for any painting job--large or small.

He came to give us an estimate, we agreed to the price, he obtained the paint color we asked for, he recommended eggshell finish instead of satin finish I had used on a test area, and why. He shared painting tips with me. He cleaned up every day after working and always asked if it was okay where he was leaving his tools/supplies. He did a beautiful job, on time. Consulted with me on things along the way, such as the wall area in a dormer that was part of the ceiling area, what color I wanted in a doorway. Very comfortable having him in our home. He had been recommended to us by a carpet business owner we knew.

Got the estimate two days later than he said he would, but it was no big deal. We thought maybe he was blowing us off, as others had. Once he gave us the estimate and we approved, he scheduled a date to start, and was on time after that. Couple weeks later he painted for my father-in-law.

Absolutely no complaint with his work.

Grant came when expected for the estimate. There was some delay in receiving the result, but not excessive, and his estimate was close to another estimate. He arrived on time each day, if he was picking up supplies before arrival, we knew it, he cleaned up his area and minimized the area of his materials, daily. He cleaned after the job. He offered to and changed a light bulb in a fixture while up 15 ' +, the ceiling line was unusual, so he discussed the options, and we learned a lot from him. The job turned out beautifully, and I find no flaws in his workmanship, his clean up. Very personable person to deal with. We would hire him again.
