I hired Paul for some plaster repair work at our home that is currently on the market. We were not there to see the work in person but he provided pictures and did the work in a very timely manner. I mentioned to him that if he didn't have time to wait for it to dry before painting that we could do the painting ourselves but he didn't take off anything from his original quote for us doing that part of the work. Not a super big deal because I offered. He cleaned up well from the job and was very nice to deal with. I would recommend busy bee and would consider using them again.

Paul was right up front about the fact that his specialty was painting and not finishing drywall. I was grateful for his honesty. We took out a couple walls that needed to be mudded and Paul did an acceptable job.

We hired Paul Matthews because we needed to repaint a house inteior and basement to put it on the market quickly. Paul & his helpers worked four 12-hr days on the two jobs and did them both excellently and on time. He is a problem solver and worked around the snags encountered.

Paul Matthews is very responsive and has been very meticulous with his work. He also offered suggestions and has been helpful in getting my Mom's condo ready to be put on the market. I would highly recommend him to others who need drywall and painting work done and other jobs that need to be completed. His pricing is definitely reasonable too.

The ceiling repair and repainting/popcorn looks good. They also washed the walls and moulding on the first floor and the result looked very nice. The removed the old caulk on one bathtub and re-caulked it, and also caulked the kitchen and bathroom counter backsplashes. The caulking job wasn't as even as I would have liked in some places, but it was sufficient.

Paul was a really nice guy and definitely knew what he was talking about. He estimated the project to take about 5 days, and it did, but I think it probably should have taken a little longer. It looks like he started to worry about the time frame more then the work itself. Don't get me wrong, the areas he did generally looked good. But, he missed several significant areas, almost completely avoiding one room. For what I paid, I expected more. There were several areas where bubbles had built up in the mud and when sanded became large holes (this could have easily been fixed with one more thin layer). I hate to say all this, but its true

The work was completed in a timely fashion. Paul was careful to clean up well. We were quite satisfied with the quality of the work.

Paul is just about finished with our project. He has done an amazing job repairing drywall and painting. He's a perfectionist who will not quit until the job is done right. He is always happy and friendly, he shows up when he says he will, he had excellent references and I'll be adding one more reference letter to his file. We plan to hire him again for our next painting project.
