The Cleaning Authority - Clinton Township

They didn't use sanitizer and did a hit and miss job. They didn't clean my toilet properly, they were dirty.

Report Description: I want to express my extreme disappointment with the lack of service and disrespect to me as a loyal client of The Cleaning Authority/Clinton Township, MI. I have been with Mike since he started his business in 2004. I am physical unable to do go behind them to fix or clean what they did not. It is disrespectful to not respond to my phone calls.(from two weeks ago). To date, no one has made any effort to resolve my issues with their lack of quality in cleaning, i.e., skipping steps in their routine plus one of Mike’s employees lost a part to my Hoover Floor Mate retendering it inoperable. Mike has not responded to my calls regarding what action he is going to take to fix the floor mate issue (find the part or replace the machine). Mike just offers lip service, he promised to send someone out with to go over just what I need/expect – that never happened.

I was amazed at how everything looked when I came home. I've tried to years to get my floor to shine and these ladies were able to do it in one visit. Beyond their amazing cleaning job, they folded all of the towels that were out on the towel racks, they folded the end of each toilet paper roll. The attention to detail was wonderful, I'm looking forward to using them for a long time.

In general, it was outstanding. They did a very thorough job. They were very polite, took extra care of the things that I was especially concerned about. They arrived on time and stuck to the time frame that we had discussed.

They use all green products. They are pretty timely, reliable and professional. The job they do is pretty clean and spotless. Every single time, they have come on the time that they indicated they would be here. It is pretty decent, and I think the charge I pay them is pretty affordable. Their price varies from house to house and the area that they go to. If I request them to come at 8:15 instead of 9 because I want to drop my kid off to school, they would be like no for an answer. Apart from that, everything else is okay. It would have been nice if they were more understanding.

Overall I think they do a good job. My two main complaints are that different people clean my home every time. The first year I had the same two women each cleaning but now it seems to rotate among 6+ people. I would prefer the same cleaners each time to ensure they clean the home to my liking and are aware of any special requests I may have as far as my home. Second, they claim they use their own 'green' products, yet they routinely help themselves to my cleaning products, even leaving the empty containers out for me to replace.

They did good work and were on time and pleasant. They normally don't like to clean on Saturdays but that was the only day I had free. Everything was fine until one day I found bed bugs and contacted them. Then Mike the owner said that they had not cleaned any other houses that day and they clean their vacuums in between houses. This contradicted what the workers told me that they had just cleaned a very dirty establishment. He told me they do not do one time jobs, which the workers during conversation mentioned they did a one time dirty job right before my house. All Mike was wondering was when the next time they could come out to clean. He never asked to assist in cleaning up the bugs. They were good until this incident.

Chad Moriarty is the contact person for the company. I provide them with a key for them to enter my home on the scheduled cleaning date. Upon initially contacting them, the business stated a cleaning price of $123 per time. I stated my agreement with my previous cleaning company. He honored the price by decreasing my payment to $95. I truly appreciate the note stating the cleaning duties performed on the visit.

They basically come in biweekly and clean while I'm at work. They leave a sheet indicating what their focus was and what it will be on the next visit. They do okay, better than the previous two services I used. Sometimes they miss obvious areas, and despite leaving a note, some items are not done.

THE LADY THAT COMES TO CLEAN MY HOME DOES OKAY. THEY DO A GREAT JOB WHEN THEY FIRST START CLEANING. THEY QUALITY OF THE WORK ISN'T AS GOOD NEAR THE END OF THE DAY THOUGH.
