The employees were pleasant but other than that it was a nightmare situation. Huge disconnect between main office and employees which turned out to be a major problem. The owner could have cared less about the team not being prepared, the lack of experience of employees and the subsequent damage of many of my pieces and interior walls of new house. Some how this is our fault because as we were told, they didn’t want to do the job. They booker said they would take proper precautions but they did not. They claimed this was due to us not being ready...however we had boxes packed and ready in the garage and the furniture was definitely there so I don’t know what else we are to do with it. I’ve moved many times and never had an experience like this. They took zero accountability even though I contacted the office several times throughout the day. The owner came to collect money but sat there and let his lead take the heat for everything. I have no respect for people like that. I’ve had better experiences getting random people off craigslist during my college years. If you own nice things and want it done right look elsewhere. I honestly would have paid much more to have it done right but even with an extra person this still took double time quoted with damage.

We had a lot of our items already packed and in the garage, beds were taken apart (one already in the Pod), no sofa was being moved nor clothes. It took 3 men most of the day to pack about a third of the items into 2 Pods and we even carried several containers of Christmas items upstairs for them because time was flying. My goodness, what should have taken maybe 20 min. to pack empty canning jars took over an hour! Instead of being methodical, they would go upstairs, then downstairs, then back up. The fellow in the kitchen couldn't seem to decide what to pack next as he went from this cabinet to that then back again. One of the cabinets never did get emptied even though he put tape on the handles as if it were. They were very cordial young men and liked to chat - maybe too much, since they simply could not talk and work at the time, which is a problem when we are paying by the hour. Finally had to chase them out because the price was already more than we could handle. Sorry Terry, but we were sorely disappointed and upset.

We were so glad we chose Five Pointe Moving to move us into our new condo. They made it a much less stressful experience. Carol was great to work with to set up and plan the move. Our 3 movers were hard workers, friendly, polite, careful and had good attitudes. The company offers free wardrobe boxes to use during the move which I thought was very helpful. We have already recommended them to someone else.

In a nutshell: Excellent. I contacted about 10 moving companies a couple weeks before I was going to move to check availability and get quotes or estimates. Terry, the owner, responded very promptly to my email and asked some additional questions so he could get a better idea of what kind of equipment or team I would need for the move. There was no pressure or excessive calling or emails like some other companies I contacted. His quote was reasonable and competitive so I booked with Five Pointe. The day before the move Terry got back in touch to make sure we were sill set, and I let him know I was. The day of the move, the moving team called when they were 30 minutes out and were at the early part of the 2 hour window I had arranged with Terry. From arrival to packing up at the new place, the movers were excellent. They never stopped moving, were careful with my furniture, and very friendly and professional. Eddie and Jake were my moving team and I really can't say enough good things about them. I had moved a lot of the smaller things myself so the only things left to move were the bigger things (couch, bed, dressers, dining room set, etc.). They made moving day stress free for me. I will definitely use them if I ever move again in the future!

Our entire experience moving my mom into a senior community was as stress free as it could get. The entire staff, from the receptionist to the 3 movers were the best in the business. They were total professionals, kind and considerate. The floors were covered, the bannisters were padded, the truck was clean. Plus, they worked non-stop at a very fast pace, and packed/unpacked whatever we wanted. Eddie especially was very passionate about his work and had a very calming affect on my mom. Their price was very reasonable and was less than another company we were considering. I would definitely recommend this company to everyone.

It was just ok. i felt like they did not have a clear understanding on how theybwere going to move the items before they started. At one point they had to stop while the item was lodged in the door way and take the door off, instead of measuring or knowing it would not fit. (Note, we did not take the door off to move the item in) The movers were very sweaty and nothing was put between their sweat filled shorts and my furniture. They were a bit cheaper then the other companies I called. It took them 40 min longer to get to the house then Me, and only took off 15 min for a lunch break.

"We appreciate your feedback. I am sorry that you were not completely satisfied with your moving services. Most customers do not want the movers to take extra time to measure items because they are paying by the hour. They believe they should have the experience to be able to judge the situation visually. This is true. The moving crew can typically judge the items through the moving process without measurement and without any issues. However, I think the extreme heat and humidity may have played a role. While the movers are conditioned to working outdoors in the summer, working day after day long hours in the heat can sometimes slow them down possibly affecting their performance. Regarding the drive time from your old address to the new address, it is mapped out at 25 minutes for cars. However, commercial trucks do take a bit longer as they have a lower speed limit. The guys did stop to take a short lunch which they deducted from the total bill. As a policy, we require customers to contact our office on moving day while the movers are still present if they have any concerns with service time, professionalism, etc. so we can address the issue immediately. As a courtesy, we would like to refund you a portion of the drive time and offer you $100 off any future full service move. I hope you will consider giving us another try. Thank you Terry O"

This company did a GREAT job for us! They worked hard and quickly. They were very respectful of our things and treated them as their own. They are a TRUE family owned business, which we LOVE to support. The office manager was also kind, courteous and efficient. I have moved several times in the last 6 years, and I wouldn't have anyone else move me again. TRULY a great experience at a very stressful time.

They were very hard working guys. They were a little careless with my belongings and caused some damage. They did a good job and were very efficient and fast, I just wish they would have been a little more careful. The workers themselves worked very hard.

This is a great family owned business and it shows. They took great care in ensuring that everything was well cared for during the move process. I felt like we were in good hands the entire time. It was like 4 degrees below zero wind chill--very cold! The guys carefully laid blankets on the floor whereas some companies do not or if they do they want you to purchase the carpet runners at an extra cost. These guys were exceptional. I never used them before. I found them here on Angie's list. That single move made Angie's list worth purchasing the subscription!

They arrived early, started work quickly and did a great job. Used a different company to move into the storage unit from our previous home, and they were terrible. Would recommend this company to anyone looking to move.
