The installer (Daniel) broke my water main and refused responsibility. He said to me I have good news and bad news. The good news is your dishwasher is installed. The bad news is you have no water and he left. It was contracted through Costco so I had to hire an emergency plumber to repair my water main, was without water for 2 days. Then, try to get payment from Costco, every time I call appliance installations, nobody answer. The installer also charged $35 for an 8ft water supply line that would cost, $12 anywhere.

Daniel came multiple times and was unable to install my dishwasher that I had ordered through Costco. I understand that there is a limited scope of services they can perform, but he was not willing to do anything additional to help get the dishwasher installed. I ended up hiring my own handyman to install it and he was able to fix the "problems" Daniel couldn't take care of in less than 10 minutes. Daniel was also just extremely rude to me in general, very condescendingly saying I "lived in poverty". I ended up trying to call Appliance Installation multiple times every day for WEEKS and no one picked up and eventually their voicemail was full. I ended up asking Costco for a refund for the installation portion and just hiring someone myself.

Great service! I had two dishwashers installed at two separate locations. Both Daniel and Gordon were efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. Will use again.

Installation from Costco. Installer Charles was great. Arrived on time, was very careful not to ding up cabinetry, was in and out in one hour. Beautiful fit to cabinet - secured the dishwasher to the cabinet since we have granite tops. Alltogether excellent work and a pleasant person. Would definitely hire again.

The installer did not know how to do the install and kept calling the office for help. The install was terrible and the dishwasher continually smells. The company told me to go to the manufacturer and would not come out again. I suspect that the waste water is backing up in the dishwasher contaminating it. Costco arranged this installer and is unable to rectify the situation. I would not recommend buying a dishwasher from Costco in the Metro Detroit area due to the inability of providing a qualified installer.

"This unit was installed by Appliance Installations for a 3rd party. The install was completed and worked fine. Later customer thought there was a odor in the machine and thought it might be an installation issue. We checked the install and verified the unit was working correctly and draining properly. Customer verified that the water was not sitting in the bottom of the machine. We have tried to resolve the customers issues the best we can, working within the restrictions set forth by the 3rd party that contracted us."
