"I apologize for any miscommunication. We strive to take care of our customers to the "Nth" degree. We sincerely didn't receive a voicemail that hasn't been replied too. That said, I had a knee operation last Thursday and forwarded all calls to our lead employee, only to figure out late in the day he was in a very poor cellular service area. Once we realized the issue, I immediately started returning all voicemails even though I was still in pretty rough post surgery shade. Therefore, if your call was last Thursday, I could see how you may have been lost in the confusion. "Hi [Member Name Removed] There are a few issues I would like to clear up and apologize about. At no time was it my intent to suggest you were being difficult to schedule a service appointment. I may have seemed frustrated as you called during one of our busiest weeks and the first few options didn't work for you. It's our goal to resolve any issue as fast as possible for our customers, especially if we were the potential cause. You were not being difficult, I only wanted to help asap! The wiring mistake was my installers fault and it wasn't a loose wire, but we had legitimately made a easy mistake by accidentally switching 2 wires. This was our mistake, which is why you were not charged a service fee for us to come out and resolve it. Regarding the comments from the other company, it's our choice not to disparage any other hvac companies, since we feel it brings down our industry as a whole. Therefore I won't comment on their comments. Although I will take this opportunity to provide some education regarding the matter. The current US Energy Code, requires "all" new ductwork to be sealed. There are basically 2 methods to sealing, duct sealer and UL Listed 181 Foil/Resin backed tape. The tape is significantly more expensive, but we feel it looks and seals better. Obviously your furnace installer felt otherwise and we can agree to disagree. Lastly, you mentioned you were "taken" financially and warned future readers to avoid the same mistake. You have a excellent new AC system which was installed at a very fair price. We made a legitimate mistake on the install, which once notified, we resolved for no charge at our earliest opportunity. Therefore, I ask, what exactly were you "taken" for? In hind sight, we're not perfect 100% of the time, but our actions did exemplify those of a company with a high level of integrity. I hope you get a chance to reflect on the overall history and take a moment to re evaluate the service we provided. There is a reason why you originally gave us such a great review and it's rare that a company takes such quick personal responsibility as we did."

"Hi [Member Name Removed] I apologize for the misunderstanding. We felt we made it clear that it could be fixed, but would not be cost effective long term due to the fact you had the old R22 refrigerant. That refrigerant is 1000.00+ per jug, which makes it very costly to recharge. It's great that you have a friend willing to give you his for free. Unfortunately, you're gonna find that if you needed to add refrigerant, some has leaked out of your unit, therefore requiring you to recharge again next year. The cost of this refrigerant is skyrocketing and therefore the recharge cost next year will be even more. Unless this friend is willing to continue to dump his money into your unit indefinitely, you will need a new unit. We made a choice last spring, that we would operate with our customers long term financial interests in mind. We feel this decision has helped us maintain a higher level of integrity than our competitors, although it did cost us 10's of 1000's in lost revenue from our sales this year.
