Copper Accents

There are very few copper repair people in my area and they are all busy.  I played  phone tag with 3 people during this entire process.  Brad showed up when I was away from home and cleaned off the duct tape and old sealant before calling me to ask if I wanted him to work on the repair.   When I showed up about 30 minutes later he described in detail how he would repair the copper roof problem.  His repair description included more than I had anticipated.  I hired him on the spot.
Work consisted of: removal of counter flashing; refastening wall flashing to brick with coated concrete screws; finally he reinstalled counter flashing with copper rivets and sealant.  I watched most of the repair and he was very patient in describing the steps as he was doing them and answering any questions I had.  He was focused and friendly, and gave me a 1 year warranty on structural attachment on a job that usually does not get a warranty.  Within 24 hours I had several brief bouts of pounding rain but the repair held and the leak was repaired.
He does custom copper work, bay windows, gutters, dormers, roof vents, specialty roof repairs, etc. and I will call him in the future.
