Services we offer
We conduct in home estate sales, staging (redecorating of an individuals home) with there own belongings. We offer clean out services of the homes we do estate sales for. We can offer the services of home buyouts for estates that can not be opened to the public or that are to small for an estate sale.
Services we don't offer
We do not buy individual pieces or small amounts of furniture/items.
I wish I would have checked Angie's List before we hired this company. Mark held an estate sale for us and while he sold a lot of stuff, it was embarrassing to see what he sold items for. Many items he sold for next to nothing. His list of items he sold was written down on a piece of paper and looked like it could have been made up. Mark also got mad a few times and showed his angry side. He didn't really seem very honest either. I'd stay away from this business and search out another Estate Sale company.

Description of Work: We needed to have an estate sale due to the downsizing of our Oakland Township home. I spoke to the woman who owns this company and she was not seem very interested in having the sale. She said they may sell our things as a group to a wholeseller. She gave me her husband's cell phone number and indicated that I should call him. I left a message with him and he never got back to me. We ended up hiring Everything Goes and sold over $10,000. In furniture, accessories, etc. I would not waste my time dealing with this very unprofessional company.

Overall, this was an outstanding experience in spite of the fact that it was a very emotional and difficult process--selling the personal items of our family after living in the home for over 50 years. Mark was kind, professional, responsive, and went above and beyond. Christy did a great job with all the organization and pricing of items--no small task. They seem to be a great team. Mark spent time with us on several occasions reviewing the process and how it would work. He answered all our questions and made us feel like important customers. He provided references for us to contact--which we did and got glowing reviews. He was very respectful of our senior parents and showed respect for their belongings that were to be sold. We also had a signed contract for the work once we agreed on the details. Christy's advertised the sale on their personal website and on other sites, advertised with very visible signage on the three days of the sale. Mark and Christy arranged the items for sale in the home beautifully and marked the items and prepared for the sale. They ran the sale and greeted customers. Following the sale they removed all remaining items, including any remaining trash, and did so quickly and efficiently. All Estate Sale companies take a percentage of the sale. Christy's was right in the middle of the several companies we contacted. The difference between Christy's and the other companies came down to who they are as people, how they present themselves, and how they run their business. As a side note for the consumer--interview several companies, ask lots of questions, talk to references, and understand that you may not make a lot of money off the sale of your items, but working with a good Estate Sale Company can give you peace of mind and energy to work on other issues. Mark and Christy were very hardworking, professional, and trustworthy.

We made a mistake in hiring Mark Siecinski of Christy?s Estate Operations. In the beginning, he was extremely accommodating at a time when we were under a great deal of stress. He kept saying: "Don't worry, we'll take care of everything". He claimed numerous times that we could leave and come back and the house would be empty. When I called him upon returning to the home afterwords, and seeing the mess he left, he denied ever saying the house would be empty and said "you should have known that to actually get rid of it (the leftovers, the bulky items that needed to be hauled away, and the garbage he generated) would all cost ?extra". Wow. We should have known better alright, better than to hire someone who doesn't even put his services in contract form. He never offered beforehand to even tell us how much all those ?extra services? would cost he lists on his website - but he didn?t hesitate to try and charge us even more money for finishing the job after we told him several times how unhappy we were. His website says his ?goal? is ?100% Satisfaction in every aspect? - apparently he was talking about his satisfaction.
Description of Work: Mark Siecinski of Christy's Estate Operations liquidated the contents of my family’s home in Rochester Hills. The verbal agreement was that he would research the value of the items, stage them, put them on his website, complete the sale, leave us with an empty house, and charge us 1/3 of the total sales proceeds. Unfortunately, the staging was incomplete, his pricing reflected an ignorance of what he was selling, and he left us with a property that was far from empty. Essentially he charged us $2,024 to have a rummage sale, and left his mess behind for us to clean up.
