I did not use them. The guy that was suppose to come out went on vacation and I never did hear from them. He was fine and competent. They did not do any follow through.

After my complaint, They contacted me. They were sorry for the misunderstanding, came out the next day and removed the tree stump and refiled the hole and put down grass seed. No charge for this. Very satisfied.

The job exceeded our expectations. We worked closely with Dave to get just the right plants. He kept a close eye on stock arrival at the nursery so we'd get the best plants as they became available. Some of the plants were significantly larger and better than anticipated. Workers were helpful and respectful of us and out home. It was a wet and the crew limited the spread of mud by extensive use of tarps. Clean up was way beyond our experience with other landscapers. The job looks great! We recommended them to our homeowners association and they did work for them as well. All with high satisfaction.

They cut down a small redbud tree in my yard and ground the stump. They scheduled a time for the estimate which was kept, and they scheduled the service for less than a week later. They showed up early in the morning and finished the job quickly. I was very happy with their performance, and will definitely use their services in the future. It could not have gone more smoothly, and their price was competitive with the other estimates I had been quoted.

My husband wanted an Arborist and called to get an estimate. A sales person came out, gave my husband a price and said he would call when our job could be scheduled. He called a couple of days later and gave us a time and date. It was approximately almost two weeks out. That was fine. It was for Sept 16 at approximately 9 am. On the appointed date, no one called or showed. I called at 11:10 and at first the young lady answering the phone, said she couldn't find us. Then she came back and said we were scheduled for 10 am. She contacted the crew and said that they were broken down on the side of the road. My reply was that it was funny that dispatch wasn't aware they were broken down until I happened to call. I missed a doctor's appointment because they weren't responsible or respectful of my time. The young lady on the phone was very polite. I asked if they were coming later if they could please come after my husband gets home from work? I had hoped to get into see my doctor. She told me she would ask and call me back. When she did, she said that the crew said, "they would TRY". My job was not a big one for a professional and since I was inconvenienced I didn't think that was too much to ask. We were shooting for 3:45. At 4:30 someone from the crew called and said, "We're not going to make it." I told him I assumed not, since I didn't get a call and once again a no show. I then asked when they would be coming? He said he didn't know maybe later in the week, or maybe next week... Someone would call to reschedule. The salesman called later in the evening to apologize. No date. Today is 10 business days later. I called them at 3:30 and told them that I had contracted another company. They came when they said they would and the cost was 130.00 cheaper for the same work. I explained to the young lady. I'm not angry with her, as she too was pleasant. She apologized. I told her that is no way to do business. She apologized again. A few moments later the phone rang and it was the manager. He told me that Nicole relayed my call, and he said he was surprised as I was scheduled for Oct 3rd. He said normally people aren't scheduled without being called. This is indicative of my whole experience with Davey. I was polite, they were polite, but totally ineffectual.

The job went perfect from start to finish, Solid price for the quality and nature work that was performed. The 3 man crew show up on time performed the job exactly as quoted and completed the work in about an hour. The crew members were frendly and professional and let the job site clean.

First time using Angies List. Selected Daveys Tree service. I have an ailing tree, and some trees that need to be cut down.They sent someone to the house in a timely fashion, and I was pleased with the estimate I was given--it was less than I expected. He did tell me it might be a couple of weeks before they came out to do the work, and I was fine with that. That was the last I heard from them. I waited 3 weeks, then called the company to make sure they hadn't forgotten about me. I was told someone would call me back later that day, but that didn't happen. It's been a month now, and I have yet to hear from them.

Very professional. Team worked together great. Also, looked tree over and stated that there was quite a bit of rot in the maple. Came up with several scenarios of what to do from cutting off top portion to decrease stress on the tree, to filling hollow areas with a tree foam to help it become more sturdy - if I chose to keep it - to suggesting replacement trees that would grow within a decade and become full. Considering my options as the maple still has lots of foliage, but even I can see it is in delicate condition. So, Davey will send all options and pricing to me for consideration.

I called Davey's to come out and evaluate a tree with dead branches and a Japanese Beatle infestation. They gave me an appointment time of 1:30 PM on a Thursday. I took the afternoion off work, but they never showed. There was a light rain that day, so I assumed that's why they missed the appointment. I got home Friday afternoon, but still no visit. I called their office and, of course, their agent was appropriately shocked that their rep missed the appointment. They made a second appointment for the following Tuesday. Their rep called and we discussed the tree. He recommended a treatment. He said if it didn't help, they would give me a discount on a replacement tree. He quoted me a price and I verbally told him to go ahead. He said he would email me a quote. I told him to email the quote but to go ahead and schedule the service. I never received an email and I never heard back from them. I'll be calling in another tree service.

Richard provided quote at the schedule time and the company notified me the day or two before when they were coming out to perform the service. I wasn't home at the time they came but when I arrived at the house the job was complete. They left the yard free of any sign they were there and trimmed the trees very nicely. Would recommend to others.

Got their answering machine, left a message, they never returned my call.

Company Rep came out to price the job and decide on approximate date for service. Was able to work around our schedule with no problem. Work crew called prior to arriving, as decided on. Job was reviewed and completed in a very efficient manner and job clean up was great. Work crew was courteous, job done to satisfaction.

I called Bryan around 6/11/12 and told him what I needed. When I got home that night, there was a formal, written quote outlining the entire job, including the number and kind of trees to be trimmed and noted that Oak trees needed to be sealed. The price quoted was very fare considering the number of trees involved and the extra work needed to seal the cuts on 3 oak trees. I called him & gave the OK to proceed. Although he couldn't give me an exact date, he did say it would be completed by 7/21. The work was actually completed on 7/10 (while I was work) and my yard was completely free of any debris. No limbs, branches or leaves. I've used Davey before and will absolutely use them again when I'm ready to have the pine trees in my backyard cut down.

Brian was very prompt to respond to my initial inquiry and was on time for our appointment. We discussed the job at hand and some future work. Was never preesured to do more than what I could afford right now. Was given a very good price and was told they'd be out within 3 weeks to cut the trees down but would come back at a later date to grind the stump. They were out in 2 weeks and did a very good job of cutting both trees and removing all debris. They were very careful not to trample the flowers. It's been a week and the stump is still here, but I haven't been presented with a bill yet either.

Davey is very professional and responsive. We have had nothing but positives about their work. They care for our trees and plants as if they were their own. They guarantee their work and when we had a bush die within the year, they replaced it with no problems.

Everything was good. I didn’t get a call back from them before they left to see if everything was okay. I didn’t really get many quotes, so I can’t grade them on price. Their service was good and they were prompt. They cleaned up. I will use them again if the need arises.

Davey Tree Service provided very professional and efficient service. Their employees were timely and very safety conscious. The crews arrived with adequate equipment to complete our job and as scheduled. The willow tree in the backyard is huge, about 40 feet tall. I was concerned about bringing equipment into the yard and destroying the landscaping, but that wasn't the case. The men climbed the trees and were able to complete the work with their manually brought in equipment. They were meticulous in cleaning up the area both in the yard and at the chipper location on the street. We think they were a little pricey, but we did receive a quality job.

They did a good job. They did exactly what they said. They showed up when they said they would. Before the work was done, I set an appointment with a gentleman and he was on time. He knew what he was talking about. He explained me what he was going to do and why he was going to do. They didn’t destroy my fence. They did a lot of work. They did a good job in cutting down and cleaning up afterwards. I would use them in the future.

They were very prompt and completed work as promised.

Overall i'm very pleased with the recommendations Bryan made and the professionalism of the crew that came out the following week. The work was performed as requested and to our expectations.The only negative I have is the poor clean up after the job was completed. The crew left countless small limbs on the ground under all the trees. It appears that they removed all the big stuff but did not "police" the area for all the small stuff. It has been almost two months since the service and I'm still finding small branch's and twigs. A simple racking would of prevented this issue. I would use the service again but only with the understanding the we expect a complete clean up of all the branch's and leaves.

They came out very quickly to give me an estimate. I received a cheaper estimate from a different company. They called me a few days later to follow up with the estimate that I had received. They were very professional but they were not able to get me in, in the time I needed.

Mark Witucki is the owner. They took 2 full days and did an excellent job. They did the same when it was raining and didn?t postpone or stop the work, as they didn?t want to disappoint us. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

Mark came over and estimated the cost of the work. The men who did the work later in the week came on time, worked quietly, efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. I would highly recommend this company for tree work.
