Chimney Cleaning and Inspection
He was super nice, he vacuumed out my fireplace, and he did go up on the roof. However, I am not sure he did a good job cleaning the inside of the chimney. I had someone come out to look at it and he said it looks like there are still some spots of creosote inside. To be fair, he was the least expensive quote.

Chimney repair. Quick response, excellent work, showed me pictures from the roof of the chimney and the problem areas where water might be coming in. Put on a new cap, crown, liner, fixed flashing around chimney. Great job and great value.

I am very disappointed with Sam. He was suppose to come back and finish the paver job. He said he would come back and clean up and replace some pavers. I texted and called a few times and keep on getting the run around! I feel also I was overcharged for power washing the pavers and filling with sand. He charged me $500.00!!! And also I can only hope he fixed my fireplace vent correctly. I would not recommend him at all!!!!!

"You called me saying your husband had ruined the job by turning on the sprinkler system and also washing down the area that I had done work which was not dry yet whatsoever I already agreed to come back out and touch up anything that your husband might have ruined which normally people would charge to cost out and fix but I did not charge you that also you wanted me to do work for your front steps which way 250 pounds apiece and I told you I would not be able to order them or get them in time to do your job before the weather was cold you continue to call and then left me a bad review when I spent over two hours scrubbing fire damage."

Best Brick was able to squeeze us into their schedule quickly- which is what we were hoping for. They made sure we knew what they were doing throughout the process of cleaning and capping our chimney (just moved into the house), and then made sure we were familiar with the basics of using the fireplace and the type of damper. Great service.

I had a water leak around the chimney. Sam was quick to respond. After inspecting and locating the problem, he explained it all to me and began work within a couple days. He also noticed another potential problem with some broken brick work on the outside corner of the house at the foundation. He fixed that also within a few days. I highly recommend Best Brick for their professional work, prompt service, good communication, and fair pricing. Great Job!

Paid $200 (CASH per their request) to install a new furnace flue/chimney cap - Sam caulked it on with 'interior caulk' instead of properly securing it with Stainless steel screws - it blew off 4 weeks later. I hired a pro for half that amount who secured it properly. They also charged me $25 extra for a stainless steel cap but the one that blew off was aluminum. That's dishonest. They also noted on their invoice 'not responsible if it blows off', so obviously they do not warrant their work. They should stick to cleaning brick chimneys, although if I had a brick chimney I would hire a real chimney sweep.

"This customer never once called to ask us to come back out or do any type of repair work which if he had we would have been there no problem he also was very rude and did not seem to understand that no one is going to climb on a two-story roof and put on a metal chimney cap for free. Unfortunately, some people are impossible to make happy and this customer seems to be one of those but in these times we are seeing a lot of that our other reviews and reputation speaks for itself This customer instructed us to put this particular style of the cap on!! he also instructed us to put glue not nails so that's a lie"
