KNIEPER FLOOR LAYING

They did an excellent job, and I couldn't be happier. They came out right away and gave us an estimate, and they got us scheduled right away. We wanted a new hardwood floor in the family room, which adjoins the kitchen that already has a hardwood floor. We wanted it to look like one floor throughout the area. They were honest about how close they could match the old floor, and were are in awe that they did even better, and you can't tell that the floors were laid 20 years apart. They are absolutely beautiful. Scott and Mike are professional, courteous, prompt, and cleaned up after themselves. We love the floors, and would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Kniepers showed up as promised and did a beautiful job. they use a 2-part epoxy that is very hard. they product only comes in gloss and I had wanted satin but they look so good that I'm very happy. Price was comparable to other refinishers. Be prepared to wait for an appointment because they are very much in demand. These brothers are third generation so really know what they are doing.

They were very prompt at first and did get a solid bid in on time. They had to delay the start date several weeks due to one of their people having to serve jury duty. This seemed a little excessive delay to us due to only one person being gone from a company and being weeks behind. Once they finally did settle on a new start date, they hit that date and time to the minute and completed the work ahead of targeted time. The work was outstanding and they were very neat and worked hard.
The boards they fixed near a cherry and walnut pattern was great work. We had tried to get that fixed before and it still never looked right. These guys got it right and it looks great. Very professional and very clean.
Be aware that they do expect you to do a lot of the set up and moving of everything including stoves and refridgerators.They did communicate this to us at the time of the bid so it was not a surprise. If you cannot do that on your own, I recommend avoiding this company. I think this is why their bid was far lower than other companies that were going to do that work for us.
I would definitly use them again.

They are very good, we called them and they were able to schedule us in right away. They came in and they cleaned up after themselves really well. They were in and out really fast and they did a really good job. We have had other floors finished in the past. We would recomend these guys to anyone.
