Imagine sitting at your desk on a business conference call.  During the middle of this important conversation suddenly someone starts vacuuming directly under your desk.  This is the amount of noise (70 decibels) emitted by the albatross Steele heating and cooling chose to install 3 feet from my desk!  And after numerous requests and demands for rectification and/or reasonable refund, the company continues to insist that the unit they chose to install was appropriate - even after my complaint to the better business bureau, Steele heating and cooling stands by their decision to install the unit.

In  response to my  better business bureau complaint,  Steele heating and cooling boasts of 45 years of HVAC experience.  What an ironic joke that appears to be now?.how many years of experience does it take to decide on installing a 45,000 BTU unit in a well insulated 250 sq. foot home office with new windows that emits 70 decibels of noise.? How many years of experience does it take to investigate and have knowledge of the many suitable units that could have been installed instead.  
I understand that their may not have been a lack of  awareness of the noise emitted by this unit.  If that was the case, fine lets fix the situation.  However the company has implied that I am responsible for the decision to install THIS unit.  Apparently my complete lack of familiarity with HVAC takes precedent over their 45 years of experience in the field.   
I can only surmise that either they really needed my 2890 dollars or that they are too proud to actually admit having made a mistake.   Either one is unacceptable and unprofessional.
Run? do not walk ..away from hiring this company.  

Had a few days of delays  due to parts not being shipped from manufacturer   but once they arrived,   next day they were out doing the repair.   Kept me in the loop with what they found and condition of internals of the furnace as they did repair.   Very easy to talk to and understand what they were finding.    Furnace area was as clean and neat when they left as it was when they arrived.  Excellent service

I called first thing in the morning and the technician was able to come out that same morning.  Very prompt.  Very professional.  Performed a couple maintenance items on my furnace, advised on my filter use, and was back up with heat within 30 minutes.  They are going to bill me, so I don't know the cost.  But the response and attention to detail was exceptional.  I will be keeping this company's number for any future H&C needs!

Our furnace went out on a day where the low temperature was below 0.  I called them first thing in the morning, and they were there to assess the problem by early afternoon.  It turned out to be the blower motor, but with the age of my furnace, and the quote to replace the motor along with a few other broken parts, it made the most sense to replace the furnace.  They replaced it the following day (such a quick turnaround!) and hauled away the old one.  I also added a last minute request to install a new humidifier, and they did that with no problem.  
Finally, they replaced the thermostat and the wiring to it at no cost to me because they found the wiring was old and worn when completing the install.  They came back a few days later to do this, which is above and beyond what was expected.
I cannot say enough great things about this company!  They were friendly, responsive, and very professional.  To replace a broken furnace less than 24 hours after they made the initial quote is impressive, considering it's a busy time of year for them.

We had Steele sr. And he gave good recommendations on our options and performed the work as desired.

Steele removed the old furnace and installed this furnace, and reinstalled the humidifier, the thermostat. Price was product plus labor. Quickly done with mounting pads. Very professional.
