They did an excellent job

I found him on Craig's List. He wanted money for the whole season or per plow. I did not want to send him money and never see him again. So I hired him per plow. He sent me a bill for 7 inches of snow and we only had 1/2 inch that day. A week later we had a snowy, icey mix with no snow and I think he might have messed up the dates. I called to clarify and he never called me back. His price was fair except that he charged me for plus inches on a date we did not have much snow. When I called he never got back. He was very prompt and had 2 guys out there working. They through ice melt down and the driveway was clear. I am satisfied but concerned about the bill. He is much more professional than people I have used in the past, but I wish he would call back. So far he has only been out twice.

They were power raking and there were two people on the job. The person on the machine was whipping around the property and he was going quickly around the corners and was trying to get done. He hit my newly paved stamped concrete patio and took about 2 and a quarter inches off of it, grounding it down. When they were finished I went out there and saw that the cement had been grounded. He asked what he could do to fix the problem and I asked for him to refund my money. He said that he couldn't do that but he would be happy to fix it himself. I said that I would prefer for him to give me the money so I could have the original company fix it. He left a paper on my door saying he would get me the money but after months went by I still didn't receive anything. I had called and left voicemails and heard nothing back. In September I saw him at a job and told him I had yet to receive my check. He assured me that he had taken care of it in May but he hadn't. He gave me his home phone & cell phone and told me I would get it. I had called him multiple times and he continued to tell me it was in the mail. However, it is now December and I have never received my check.
