Water Heater Service, Heating and Air Conditioning Service
Contractor took materials check of $5000.00, purchased a furnace, water heater and AC condenser (approximately $3000 worth of materials total). Placed these in basement of my home (AC Condenser outside) and failed to show up to work 3 scheduled dates. When told he needed to stay on task and provide a timeline to completion, he quit the job...still having materials money in his possession that was unused ($2000.00). He was told to return it; stated he could not until he was paid by another job--still has not paid back funds and authorities were contacted and suit has been filed against him. Another company called in to finish his work revealed he did not purchase the furnace that he quoted (quoted 40k BTU SS model, purchased a 60K BTU SS model and did not make me aware he did this or why).
