So I took my Ford Focus in for a system update. They were able to get me in quickly and perform the update in a few hours. They also did an oil change for me. During the oil change they ran across an issue with my front right stabilizer and fixed that as well since it was still under warranty. I was very satisfied with their service and how they handled the warranty issue without me even having to do anything.
So we brought our other car in for a recall issue that we had been trying to get fixed for over a year with another dealership. Not only did they get us in for the appointment, but they had the part in stock so was able to replace it in two hours while we waited. We were so surprised and extremely happy. They also looked into two other issues that we brought up.
Vanderhyde Ford definitely exceeded our expectations and have won two new customers!
I had priced this job at two other Ford dealers and two independent shops within 15 miles and Vanderhyde beat both other quotes by $100. Vanderhyde has done this (beat quotes by over $75) on a couple other occasions. Also, the vehicle has had a couple of recalls - Vanderhyde more often than not beats other Ford dealers in being able to schedule work within a day or two vs others of more than a week.
Marked them down to a B on Professionalism - not sure this is the appropriate category - Had oil changed. My vehicle has computer system that notifies me when oil change is recommended with a flashing -scrolling text on instrument panel. This would be obvious to anyone who started the engine and drove the vehicle in and out of service bay. In past other Ford dealers have reset after oil change but this was not done. This is very minor issue but detracts from 100% satisfaction.
Vanderhyde Ford is first place I think of when scheduling mechanical repair work.
