Service representative was told the oven wasn't turning off. He checked and found that the appliance was working properly. He said he could find no problem in the device's oven control, and suggested replacing the part, which he estimated at $300 plus. We paid the website agreed $75.
Description of Work: We contacted Sears online regarding our Kenmore electric range. The website was so configured to disallow any input to question, one could only agree to a $75 service charge or move on. Unfortunately, we chose the former only to be told that the appliance was now operating fine, despite nothing in the way of repair having been done. The "repairman" suggested a $300 plus replacement for the part that "may" have been at fault.
