They did an OK job installing cabinets to print (which caused problems due to the measure, and left me with drawers that won't open because of the stove that doesn't fit). I guess they didn't think about the consequences of doing the install to print when the result would be drawers that won't open and cabinets that open the wrong way (they installed the pantry doors backward, which caused me to have to reorder a door in order to have them open correctly and further delayed my project). Most egregious was that they not only left my front door unlocked (and the alarm unarmed), but I found it WIDE OPEN when I returned home that night approximately three hours after they had left. When confronted with this security lapse by the general contractor, the owner did not apologize, and instead blamed another sub-contractor who had been on-site for about 20 minutes 7 hours earlier (reports of both the other sub-contractor and the neighbors support that the last truck there was Tri-Star's). I wrote a letter to the owner to express my anger at the carelessness of the crew having left my home unsecured (endangering not only my belongings, but also potentially my life and that of my child), and I have yet to receive a response (waiting two weeks, thus far).
